I'm 19 just got done with high school I'm working as a jeweller. I've been watch your videos since I was 15 and it changed my life. I have improved physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Jose, thank you. I am older, yet I still find your content informative, educational, entertaining among other things. This video IMHO is probably the one people need the most. Being older, I'm a little behind on the self awareness journey but I'd rather start late then not start at all. Just because someone is younger does not mean you can't learn from them. Obviously it works the other way around as well. Stay strong stay hard stay up everyone. Life is hard af so you gotta be harder or it will just eat you up. For a time I was being eaten up and over two years ago I decided I was done with letting that happen. Now I have over 2 years of sobriety, have some money, great friends and family. I am not a loser but I feel I haven't won everything I want yet but I will. Thanks to people like Jose, other content creators and some others only I know, I have been able to grow myself into a better version on myself.

That part about remembering where you started really hits home. I was in a really dark place during Covid and found myself on academic warning. I was a loser that played video games and didn’t want to put in the work. Since then I’ve climbed back to a 3.0 gpa, joined a club for networking, and even landed an internship this summer. I wish this video gets as many views as possible, and for people to watch through all 19m20s. What you said is very important, as though it may sound harsh. I can relate. I'm a 20 years old, I got into one of the widely-regarded 'best' university in my country, I've been going to the gym, I've been watching self-improvement videos for as long as I can remember. I thought I was on a better road than my friends who spend half of their day gaming. Yet I still find myself feeling like a loser. I look at my life and see that half of my day is actually just 'watching' self-help videos. I have very few friends, I've never got a girlfriend in my life. I do think I've got a decent style and I'm attractive in a way bla bla, but I never took the chance to tell a girl I like/love her. Your point about these videos being the drug just like porn is true Jose. MEN MUST TAKE ACTION. Or else, at the end of the day, you will still have that feeling in your stomach just like me. Deep down, you know you're still a loser, still so far off your goal. One good thing I find working positively for me is to simply turn my phone and laptop off. Put on an outfit I'm comfortable in and just step outside. If you wanna study, go to a library or a coffee shop. If you have nothing in your mind, go to the gym or go for a walk. Still much better than sitting home scrolling mindlessly through videos and social media posts. I know this is a long comment, many might think I'm just sad, depressed and have nothing more fun to do at the moment other than writing a comment no one might even read. Honestly, no. I just find this video very very important, the message hits hard and I believe every men should hear it. I just want to share my view, even if 1 person reads it and decides to change themselves, it's worth it.

I used to watch Jose’s content more in the past everyday as he produced it, but I began to stop watching it not because the content wasn’t great or repetitive far from it. The content was and based on this video continues to become great little by little every day. The reason I stopped watching is because I began to focus more and more on taking action day by day to the point I didn’t need Jose’s content or anyone else’s to hold my hand and tell me do x and then y. I realized this is my life and all this content while useful is more suggestive of what has (in ideal circumstances) worked for the content creator. It doesn’t have certainty it will work for me since we could be going in completely different paths in life neither wrong, simply different. Mine could be to become a scientist while Jose’s is to become a better businessman neither bad both respectable simply different. Thank you Jose for all your help for the past 7 years and always keeping it real with us !!
