Heyyyyyy lovelies, in this video I am creating some simple yet stunning tealight holders using resincrete from j diction. I am trying out four different finishes using a variety of mediums. I wanted to test the resin crete to see how well it picks up from the moulds.
This is definitely a more simple project yet has a wow impact.

Love these candle holders in silver and white. I once decorated a new hotel in white, silver and dark blue, it looked amazing together and complimented the decore as well. These would have been a lovely fit. (read I volunteered as no one else wanted to do it! LOL)

I love your giggle. When I hear you giggle I am always immediately reminded of a character, The Goddess Nyx, from my favorite book series (The house of Night by P.C and Kristen Cast) because when she laughs, she's described as sounding young and girlish. Anyway, when I hear you laugh, it reminds me of how she is described in this series, and it's absolutely lovely. Love those molds! The one with the foil, especially. I actually have several different brands like your discontinued sparkle white. One is called “Dazzling Diamond” from Meyspring. Another is called “Icicle” from Eye Candy Pigments. Eye Candy also has interference versions, called “Glimmer Ghost” or “Galactic Ghost” . Galactic has a larger particle size than Glimmer. Both are gorgeous. The “Bling It” line from ColourArte has interference colors of the sparkle flakes like that, but they may not have a plain white. I use “Icicle” and “Dazzling Diamond” all the time (I have big jars of each, and it doesn’t take much), and they appear to be the same as your sparkle white.

Hello Claire, love your videos! Don’t know if anyone has mentioned this already, but I saw in the official Jesmonite distributor’s page here in Lithuania that the manufacturer states, that the white pigment might get paint residue on the bottom of the bottle and you just have to warm the bottle in hot water and mix thoroughly, that should fix it. Hope that helps! 🙏 Amazing results with the snowflakes! ❤

Unicorn art crushed crystal Magical mica powder seems like it might be very close to the super sparkle, I've used this and it's very beautiful, as seen on glitz and glitter with Michelle. ❤

YES!!! Those silver flakes are gorgeous! I tried the deer ornament but with polyurethane and clear resin with the silver foil. I did the deer with the silver embossing powder. When I was using the heat, it bubbled the thin layer of PU that met up with the clear, bummer. I cut those out and it still looks great. I will try and topcoat it. I am loving the silver and white also.

Hi Claire love these 😍, iv got the moulds, i was just thinking what i was going to do with them and eco pour was my thoughts too, so im going to see if how well the just4youonlineuk eco pour works with picking up, i no it picks up some stuff and no it dosnt really pick up the opal flakes the best, thanks for sharing, hope you, George and Tim are well ❤❤❤ xxx

Love your videos Claire, it's a shame that a lot of you resin artists have moved over to either jesmonite or resin crete .. I've been using resin for years and although the jesmonite and resin crete cost less and solidify quicker, I don't think I'll ever move over to them ❤

Do you have to seal this product? If yes, what with?

hey lovely - you do not 100% need to unless it is intended for a wet area or a coaster hat may get wet. However, you can seal this with wax J Diction do a wax but others are available. You could also seal it with the Jesmonite AC100 sealer or Elichem also do sealers. As far as I am aware any Acrylic sealer will do xx
