Hey guys welcome to a very special and huge video and the best and worst enemies across the entirety of the Super Mario Bros franchise. This is one of the biggest videos ive ever made to date and think I covered each games baddies properly in finding the ones I need to showcase. Note: Bullies also appear in Bowser in The Fire Sea and Snowman's Land, not just Lethal Lava Land

My favorite enemies in Super Mario World were the Rex and the Dino-Rhino/Dino-Torch. Mostly because how their form permanently changes the first time you stomp on them - the Rex scrunches up, while the fat Dino-Rhino turns into a smaller but fire-breathing Dino-Torch. I like how a number of enemies in Super Mario World change up their attack pattern in reaction to your attacks.

Some personal favorite enemies of mine are the Electro-Koopa from Sunshine, the Brooser from NSMB, the LakitUFO from Partners in Time, the Snifits from several games, the Green Gloves and Sluggers from Yoshi’s Island, the Laser Mechakoopas in Mario Maker 2, and the Kaboombas also from Yoshi’s Island. There’s a lot more but those are just the favorites that come to mind.

in super mario 64 if you fall in lava by a bully you can exploit mario’s panic state to bounce the bullies back without being touched

Now that Super Mario Bros Wonder is out, I can safely say that my favorite enemies are Baboom (for its mechanics) & Kerpop (for its concept). But I hate the Maw-Maws.

I will give super Mario bros 2 to credit even though it makes the enemies a lot easier when they become gold I like the remixes of a music in each stage when you hit the gold rings that's awesome

It’s funny, in the credits of Mario 2 “Birdo” is referred to as “Ostro” and the “Ostro” enemies are called “Birdos”

The idea actually started in Mario 64, where hats gave you different power ups, and the Klepto vulture that stole your hat made its first appearance

Disagree on the mini goomba hiding in bricks; they can be found out, seemingly pretty easily as the blocks don’t shimmer like the real ones. Saying this, however, they’re alternate form in NSMBDs is far superior

What I consider the worst enemy: “Goombas” from Super Mario World. Those are NOT Goombas. Glad Nintendo renamed them in Super Mario 3D World.

I think one of the best enemies in 3D land are those blue robot things with yellow spikes that kan only be hit from the bottom when it slam into you. I always found these fun to fight and I wish they returned in 3D world

big brains know mario 2 was doki doki panic galaxy brains know doki doki panic was made from the concepts for mario 2 before they made more of a "second quest" style game, and thus mario 2 (USA) was always meant to be mario 2

I notice that you list a lot of harder enemies as bad, it’s important to only list unfair enemies, like the hammer bros as bad, and not simply hard ones.
