That colour is coming back into fashion. Saw a Range Rover Evoque in a similar colour today. It reminds me of British 1960's 'Panda' police cars and the Morris cars used by the visiting artificial inseminators in the early 1970's. We used to call it 'wishy-washy blue'. As far as seats go, I must be the only man in the world that prefers the seats in my Nissan Qashqai to the XC90's. Engines? More different engines are on their way. Patience! Noise? I tried the old model diesel V60 this week and was surprised at how noisy it was, not just compared to my XC90 but also compared to my Qashqai and CRV [to a lesser extent]. However, I do not consider my D5 XC90 to be at all noisy in the cabin. The exhaust noise as heard by pedestrians is another matter though and, externally at the back, it does sound like a tractor. Throttle delay? Probably worse on the D4 than the D5. That is precisely the reason they added Power Pulse to the D5 of course. I've got the Polestar remapping on trial on my XC90 for the next ten days, and that alters the feel of driving the car quite a bit. Changes down sooner and holds longer, but not quite the same as the old Dynamic mode though. Its more like they activated the trailer towing mode full time. Its early days yet but I'm not convinced that I'll keep and pay for it.

Is there really No setting to adapt the dampers? There is a driver's mode button on the the right on the dashboard, ain't it changing the dampers depending on the selected drive mode?

How does this D4 engine feel compared to your old XC90's D4? (I think it's probably the same engine model, but maybe it feels/sounds different when housed in different car models?)

I got my 2020 xc40 t5 r-design 21inch wheels. Gas ..... yes👍 it starts up with no problem in the cold 45- ... bad thing is you have to keep the Cameras clean.. I don't care about that one bit... plus you have to turn off the stop/start because when u stop the car will turn off on you and it takes lots of gas... plus when u use the remote start it takes a lot of gas.. but I don't give a fuck because I love my Volvo XC40 T5 R Design 😁👍

När jag testa XC40 så hade testbilen också D4 och jag la knappt märke till att motorn lät "för mycket". Vad jag faktiskt lade märke till va att jag kunde höra turbon och dumpventilen innefrån vilket för mig är ett stort plus!
