Kinda disappointed.. in 2 areas. Firstly as a G., but also as a electric car in terms of charging and range . It's not groundbreaking in any ways.. but maybe it works back and forward to the shop 🙈 Good thing it has a spare tire on the back. May come in handy for those massive curbs it needs to conquer on the way to Starbucks 😂 Sorry man.. I hope the new Range Rover will destroy this 😅

I'm just gonna put it out there... EV6 GT has same shortened steering, beefed up suspension and beefed up battery cooling. I get that Ioniq 5N gets a lot of hype especially because it is track oriented but journalists like you Kris should actually do research before throwing statements like these.

Do you have a source for you claim? And even if they have the same components it's all in the tuning. Many cars share components, but are vastly different to drive. This car was developed by the N-devision for several more years compared to the EV6 GT. Further more, KIA have nothing like Huyndai's N-division. Steering feel is the big difference between these cars. and IMO what spoils the driving experience in the EV6 GT.

Looks like you are just pulling things out of your arse matey. Quick Google search reveals that 5N and EV6 GT have different steering ratios, 12:54:1 vs 12:56:1. So they don't use the same components. Furthermore this is what Hyundai say about the steering in the 5N: "The steering column has been strengthened and an IONIQ 5 N-specific steering rack with a higher steering gear ratio was added to enhance steering response and feedback" Not only is the hardware different, N-devision spent years developing the 5N. Other changes that the EV6 GT doesn't are: "Body and chassis reinforcements, as well as 42 additional welding and 2.1 metres of additional structural adhesives, have been added to further improve body and suspension mount rigidity. For lateral rigidity, the motor and battery mounting have been reinforced, and front and rear subframes have been enhanced" www.hyundai.news/eu/models/performance/ioniq-5-n/press-kit/press-information.html

I purchased the EX30 and I'm actually quite happy with that. First of all, I think the design is superior to the classic Volvo look, both front and back looks way better on the EX30 than the conservative oldish look on the C40 - especially the back end is kinda ugly. The EX30 is not without flaws. The back seat is not made for adults but we kinda knew that. The driver alert system is annoying but a EU directive, and it can be turned off. It's brilliant for commuting from one city to another, and the potent power comes handy when overtaking. I haven't found anyone reviwing the headlights, but they are truly great. I come from Opel Insignia, and that was a fine car but the lights on the Volvo Ex30 are actually way better and lights up the road in the best possibly way. The Harman Kardon speakers are just nice to have, and I don't miss controllers or info screens in front of the steering wheel. It makes good sense that your eyes only moves from attention on traffic to one central spot. Yes, it makes other things different, but really, it's just a matter of adjusting old habits to new ones. I've seen other reviews mentioning that the calculation of battery capacity at destination to be too optimistic. Well, I drive 60K to work, and it's normally just on spot when I arrive as it is, when I return from work. Perhaps this is an issue when driving motorways with lots of traffic (stop and go, and then of course depending on head wind) but I think it's much more precise than I expected.

Can we quantify how bad the infotainment system is? I already drive a '22 Ioniq5 LR Premium and the infotainment system is the big let down on this car. It has all the colors and animations and features and the HUD is really good, but the infotainment is so painfully slow and non intuitive that I try to not use is. I'd say its worse than a '15 Leaf in responsiveness and usability. Has nothing improved with the '25? @Kris Rifa?

Waiting for my 85 L&K Coupe to arrive soon. With the 20inch less weight and power and the coupe better aerodynamic I hope I can get a even better efficiency. Running a 80x coupe with about 18kwh/100km also on the 20inch, and getting about 400km on a full battery. Better than on the Q8 e-tron sportback I had bowwowed before where I was doing 25kwh/100km, but at least I had 104kwh of usable battery
