My main base or first base I set up was right at the beginning. Its a bit tricky due to the lay of the land but now I've set up another base at the one you mentioned last in your video/ I'm gonna Use that as a mining base and set up another at the usual spot which people have mentioned in many videos - actually just done that this morning!

I used the ore spot by the church. The problem is a lack of large flat surfaces to build structures. The pals will go down below the cliff to mine resources, but if they run into obstacles, they try to go around, but then they get stuck trying to go outside of your base to go around. I walled off the side by the church to make it more defendable, and then the raids only come from the trail below. It might be good as just a resource base for Ore, but didn't work well for me as a main base.

I prioritized raid safety when I built my bases on a server, because those scale with the highest lvl member in the guild, which made it hard to defend for me after I joined a bit later. I've built a base on the 4th and 7th spot before, the one with the small lake is really good, it can't be raided at all, the raids get stuck at the bottom of the mountain. My 3rd base (for breeding) is on another mountain near the 4th spot, at 268 / -183, it's another safe spot with a big kinda flat area you can completely flat out with foundations. And the raid gets stuck at the bottom, so no need to worry about those ^^

make sure ot pick up every single piece of lose debris on the ground for base location 1 before you place foundations lol it derps out all the pals that can gather

The base location at 4:00 is the one I used, and it's quite amazing and super underrated IMO. It has Ore located in the radius so you can free up a spot for one of your bases if you'd like, and the raids get stuck at the bottom so you don't have to worry about them.

The spot near the Relaxaurus Lux don't get raided at all, the raids get stuck way below it, it's awesome

Great, best recommendations for base locations I have seen so far and I have seen many. I usually build my first base (stone/wood/future breeding) at the first spot you showed. It somehow never gets raided which is a big advantage. My second base (ore/coal), probably not a suprise, build on the fourth spot. Some people call it broken and I kind of can understand why. I have build my base at the third spot before. I did not like it, because the raids were too high level for a first base. I prefer my first base to be on a flat area, because ore is not immidiatly needed a lot when starting out and space is. I aim to get my second base to focus on mining. I have build on the last spot too and did not like it, because I was getting issues with space and I did not like the elevation. Building in this game, especially with stairs, is not something I enjoy doing. And when I tried the first spot I never looked back to this one. I have not build on any other location so far. Most of the other spots you mentioned I have considered on building, even the lesser well known ones.

The base next to the Relaxaurus kinda broken about raids. They cant climb and will stuck at a corner on the ground. I currenly use this base to farm muti resourses

If you go a bit South East of base location 3, there's a bunch of sulfur.
