Getting Swindle hooked up was a pain for me too, but love the overall product. Hopefully we start getting the Autobot combiners from them in the future

For swindle and brawl, it might be easier if you connect them to the torso first before putting in the calf piece. Anyway, he looks really nice. I'll probably transform them a couple of times and then combine them into Bruticus, where he will stay like that forever.

In the cartoon the scale is all over the place but generally the “regular” non-combiners are usual as tall as the combiner’s knee. That being said the NA Starscream would probably be the closest in scale accuracy with respect to this Bruticus.

Sounds like this one was painful to put together, but it’s still really cool. I really dig Magic Square’s stuff; that colorful gummy looking plastic and figure designs is pure eye candy.

I used a couple of my tiny hair tie rubber bands to secure the 2 tabs on the back. Used future shine on some of the fingers and on the elbows to keep them from rotating so easily. Also, tighten up a few screws such as the top of the thighs. Lastly, it's not well balanced. Tends to lean or fall forward when doing action poses so use the toe articulation. If you pull them forward even a little it helps.

This looks amazing. It's disappointing that alot of it is just parts not usable while not in combiner mode. I'd loose most of them parts if I didn't have it combined lol.

I've been holding off on getting Blastoff due to a recent move, and because so far Brawl's the only one of the set I was really smitten with. I got him first and he's why I went all in at first. Onslaught and Vortex's transformations from bot to vehicle and back are fun, but yeah. But oogh, I hope those leg ratchets sound as good in person as they do in this video. And he's a *lot* bigger than I was expecting! I've never gotten a combiner team before, official or third-party, but Magic Square got me with their transformation shenanigans. Hopefully I can convince myself I deserve to get Blastoff before he goes out of stock.

I preordered Blastoff day one from ShowZ but all I got was an email telling me magic square didn’t make enough stock for them and I have to either wait until December or get a refund. 😞

I purchased all the guys in this combiner set, so I’m fully committed, but I’d be lying if I said I’m totally fine with Magic Square being the only legends company putting out combiners. Where have you been, Newage?! You gave us a great Devastator, showed us a single Stunticon, then went radio silent on any new combiners. It’s time… give us a Predaking or a better Superion or something.

The launch pad is an interesting addition but I always wondered if the Combaticons were war vehicles how does Blastoff fit in?

Great job on your video, I agree that he is a nightmare to put together it took me a total of 5 hours to get it done but damn he looks good once you get it there.

Ok evidently I made a mistake with Onslaughts feet when combining him. He was secure but it was a mistake. Sorry for that mistake. Thank you for your understanding. ok i did it correctly i just didnt edit it right. Lol sorry about that i fixed it cause it wouldnt connect correctly but forgot to show that corrected part. so it is tab in just fine.

This is pretty good but I gotta say the MMC Ocular Max Bruticus is less of a hassle to transform and looks better. Although it is a bit of a cheat being MP scaled and is probably slightly more expensive (although not by much if my experience with Magic Square combiners holds true). Either way the end product looks great.

not really into legends figures but this Bruticus looks great. it looked like you where having some issues putting him together but the end result is good. as far as Starscream goes i think Dr Woo is too small. i think you need one that is about half way in between the two you have there. till next time. i hate that Swindle transformation. i bought these for robot modes anyway. i dont think im even going to go through with this combining. not touching Swindle again and that Vortex arm formation looks like a real pain in the ass. happy with bot modes

Hello, this is a good review of the figure, but it could be better if you actually followed how to do the transformation correctly! I can see you didn't really transform the onslaught properly; the onslaught's heel should be out and connect to the backpack to secure it. and its probably just one of them. I really hope you will do better on the next reviews so your viewers won't get misled into transforming their figures the wrong way. thankyou!
