Thank you Josh for this video! We recently bought a 2021 Cedar Creek 36CK2 and are very happy with the quality of everything in it! We traded in a 2022 Voltage Toy Hauler that was so cheaply made. Cabinet doors falling off, staple tips sticking out, drawer sliders flying off...and that was after three short trips! You're the best!

I understand why a used one cost more than Cougar the same size & interior/exterior. Not tour related, but am hoping you'll have an answer: Is there a particular reason (not related to cost, as it's not much more expensive than a big tv) that manufacturers don't use projectors and pivot mounted roll-down screens to free up more storage or window space by not having a tv unit? Most projectors now "center" their projections so that even if the screen is at an angle the picture appears centered and clear, which would be good for the people who need 2 couches, but less important to those like me who would tear out the 2nd couch to put in a desk/cat zone.

@@JoshtheRVNerd Ahh, but I'm noticing the younger generations are starting to get more and more interested in trailers, rv's, and motor homes as either viable options other than buying a house, or as a way to see the continent. And they usually want the best tech gadgets to play with even while on vacation. Just imagine, being able to take the projector (and possibly speaker) outside and watch a big screen movie on a sheet stretched between 2 trees or on the side of a big white trailer. :D Summer suspense/murder movies would have way more impact when watched in a dark forest... Hey Josh. Got a couple questions about a couple things you've said here...Here we go! You said something I want to REALLY pick your brain on and you said "THE BEST BUILT IN THEIR CLASS" Do you honestly believe that? No argument, don't get me wrong. It's just, the video of you going through the North Point/Pinnacle plant is what made my decision finalized with me buying this Jayco North Point 377RLBH. Before, when we were shopping, back more than a "few" years ago, I had always believed the Jayco brand was garbage. Then I saw the videos here on YT and went to the local Jayco dealership with the sales guy showing me the suspension, the build of interior, etc.... I think you understand being the experience you've got seeing the upper models of Jayco....They are in the upper class of the middle class 5th wheels out there, right? Okay, let's just boil this down.... -Compared to Jayco. The "LUXURY" models. The pinnacle/ North Point (being both built at the same factory) Then the Ceder Creek. How would you compare the two/three to each other? Or am I misunderstanding that they are in the same class of RV? (Assuming so) -Suspension? Frame strength/attention to detail with weight when build is complete with the frame? -How often each are in the shop at your dealership location? -The comfort/luxury comfort. Reliability. Ya know.... which one is just THAT much better built? Or are they a side by side equal comparison? -And then... did you say the ceder creek is only an 8 foot width body? Not a wide body? Don't get me wrong... I'm not one of "those guys" that are Brand Proud or loyal, you know the guys.... Chevy, Ford and the Ram guys that ONLY buy 'THEIR' brand and loyal to it. Not anything like that. Just looking for what our options of a quality rig for our eventual upgrade from this one we picked up a year and half ago. (Regret getting the bunk house model. Takes a lot away from the living part!) Knowing other brand's quality gives me that much more of a solid feeling or relief when we do the next purchase. I know I've said it before but I'll go ahead and suck the corn outta your ass one more time and tell you again...Keep this up, my friend. You're doing a great job with some great information that we, us RV folk appreciate more than you know. Thanks again sir! Chris Chapman

Long comment - I'll do my best not to miss stuff but youtube makes it difficult for a channel operate to see a full comment while replying *BEST BUILT IN THEIR CLASS:* Depends on how you qualify that comment so it's fair to ask. TO DATE in my experience I've seen older cedar creeks that were often neglected hold up very well long term. Sometimes the skin/decals are rough but the structure is almost always good. They seem to be a brand that is longer lasting vs. the industry average *NORTH POINT vs CEDAR CREEK:* Jayco has been doing some great work there and since this video was recorded they've advanced the NP line a bit in terms of features and the now 102" wide body it lacked before. Jayco orders a bulkier chassis vs. many mainstream builders which really helps. Again, from my experience cedar creek's structure is extremely long lasting and hard to beat. I wouldn't turn my nose up at a Jayco. Cedar spends a little more money on their body structure while jayco spends more on their features and cosmetics *HOW OFTEN AT MY SHOP:* While we carry both Jayco and Cedars in our lineup at Bish's my home store only carries Jayco so I don't really see the return-for-service rates on a Cedar and lack access to our warranty/service stats to answer this more objectively for you. I don't want to just wing out an answer that's unqualified. I feel good about both but "feeling" isn't "knowing" *COMFORT/LUXURY:* I'll give the north point the nod here. Again - cedars spending more on the skeleton leaves less budget available for "Trim package features" *BODY SIZE:* Yes. 8ft wide. They're a classic brand that's been around quite a while before the wide body concepts had popularity

What is your input on KZ? Looking at a Venom toy hauler and there’s not much information out there about KZ as a whole. Seems like a great built rig although after watching this my mind is now racing with questions about build quality. Sincerely appreciate your videos brother!!

@@JoshtheRVNerd Josh, I’ve been surprised to not see all that many around. Putting out 10 Durangos a day keeps the numbers down, I suppose. When shopping, I researched construction before floorplans, and their choices are intriguing. I’d love to hear your impressions. Thanks for sharing all your objective information!

Can you explain what a park model is compared to a TT or 5th? I understand parks are heavier and 6” wider. But do you have to hire a specialist to tow it if you need to move it to a new place or can it be towed with a 1 ton or heavier?

Thank you Josh. I’ve been following you for a few years now and I must of slept through this class. It answers my questions. If I upgrade to a larger RV, I am thinking of parking it and use my 1 ton for a truck camper. Live in the 5th. But your video showed me the difference between the two and storage. What I thought was, there could come a time when I might move it a better park, I could tow the park model and keep the truck camper on. I learn so much about RV’s from your videos that help me understand differences in them. We have a 2003 Aspen that we bought brand new. So as you can see, I don’t jump in and out of buying RV’s. Some day I hope I can meet up with you and talk about this stuff. Plus, we share the same sense of humor or that’s what my wife says.

Josh I love your videos. I have to disagree with you on Cedar Creek quality. We couldn’t wait to see a 388rk in person at the Hershey show this year. It looked so nice in the videos. In person it’s disappointing. I saw so many gaps on the valences. They put a smaller stove and dishwasher for this year. The cabinets and doors in the bath and bedroom are cheaply made. Overall we will not be buying any Cedar Creek rvs. Riverstone is at the top of our list now. Cost more but you get what you pay for.
