Some of these places are not even *near* the Loop! You want Loop? Try Luke's Pizza and Sandwiches on the south side of Jackson Street, one or two blocks east of Sears/Willis Tower, I forget exactly which. Good pizza slices, burgers and chicken sandwiches, some Italian entrees. In fact, the only place I know of in the central downtown area, currently, for traditional slices.

We definitely plan on coming back and going to the South side. We didn’t have a rental car on this trip so we didn’t want to pay for all the Uber fees 🤣

Yeah, Stan's Donuts always disappoints. They often over-fry their donuts, giving them a bitter taste. They are also a complete rip-off. Almost all the donuts are in one of the higher price tiers. And what kind of donut place has price tiers in the first place?!? Better that you stick with Do-Rite Donuts, which are much superior, with better sandwiches and better prices as well (no, I do not work there).

this app too good to go app is this like a pick up food item?

Sort of…When you download the app your put in the city you are interested in. It will show all of the restaurants/businesses participating in the program and what options are available. So for example, it won’t say the exact meal you will be receiving but it will say something like “Pastry” if at a donut/coffee shop , or “3 sides and meat” if a restaurant. It helps you have at least a ballpark idea of what u will get if you select to pick it up. Then you just go pick it up within the time provided to you. 🤗

Hmmm we’ve never heard of the Um app either 🤷🏾‍♀️ . Not sure if you were looking for the app we used in this video or not BUT..We did mention the “Too Good To Go” App in this video where you can get discounted food in major cities to help prevent food waste. We highly recommend it as we’ve used it several times. Thanks for watching and happy eating 😉
