I’m sort of annoyed that people forget blue can do multiple attacks by taking extra turns. I have recycled my extra turn cards and hit face with commander damage a lot of the time. It’s not only just counter. Also great job on the video, it was enjoyable!

A well built burn deck can snag wins as early as turn 4/5. I agree, you need protection for your commander (both in artifact and spell form), and rituals work great too. I had an Imodane deck and it had about a 80% win rate, whether played by me or given to friends to play. It’s very monolithic and linear which is why I took it apart but it’s great fun!

I just recently built my first Mono color with Delney. Generally didn't want to try Mono color because I was worried it would be restrictive, but it's REALLY nice to not worry about multiple colored land drops.

i feel like in cedh terms means the strongest of the strongest alot of things change. like green being the weakest color or blue being the strongest cause you need to intreact with the stack^^

Big agree that White should not be bottom. I would put Red at the bottom. It has limited interaction and some very strong commanders but I think the average Red deck is much worse than the average White deck.

I, realistically, have tutored Reliquary Tower more times than I have tutored anything else. Which is wild (and sad) to think about.

Blue is Control ... Extra turns , Counter magic , Card draw, some card protection (Works with artifacts) alot of Bounce effects, lots of Scry effects to find what you need probably more xD

Red Is basicly Burn / Agro and Double mana (Mana Flare) and Damage Multipliers , could also be Dragons , Land Destruct

Oh I have a monoR aggro list. Kediss/Dargo the commanders. With a lotus opener I can oftimes murder the whole board by turn 5ish sometimes sooner if I can string extra combat steps. Once I almost turn 3 the board by copying a jeskas will turn 2 but fell short on the last player who just took a draw and scooped so technically that was turn 4 Edit: I also think that white has surpassed red and is now solidly 4th place. Still a long way to catch up to G/U and realistically it will never catch up to black I don't think

Black is good, Tutors , Lots of Mass and Targeted Removal, Lots of card draw , Life gain , Direct damage , Ramp, Debuffs like Enchantments that give - X - X for example

I'm of the idea that Blue is one of the strongest monocolors but it's the least *fun* monocolor both to play and play against so gets held back by it. I think the only competition in terms of monocolor power is Black. Green is the most common monocolor, because of the ease of building and synergy within the color, but I don't think it's really as powerful as people perceive it to be given its prevalence.

My two mono colored decks I frequently play are Vorinclex Monstrous Raider and Vito, thorn of the Duskrose. I know Vito's gimmick is life steal and could be strengthened by Orzhov aristocrats but I built the deck outbid spite and actually ended up falling in love with it.

White Protects itself , Gains life and Good Targeted Exile removal, Swords / Path and all the enchantments then exile non land Permanents

@37:25, can we think about having colourless cards to tutor a sideboard? Kind of like Learning your Lessons. Since we have so many commander releases, this wouldnt be hard to support.

Definitely a neat card pool that isn't necessarily played in multi coloured decks.

MTG hate for mono-White is definitely an example of confirmation bias. White is easily the most pushed color of the last few years. It has the best removal options and some of the best draw options, only really struggling with consistent ramp. Maybe a hot take, but I'd easily place white second behind green.

Red doesn't have answers for many things. I just don't see it being better than White. White defends itself well and is just as capable of explosive turns. People seem to forget that White is very different than it was years ago. And I definitely agree with Blue being weak. Probably not in the 4-slot, but it is definitely not in the same league as Black and Green.
