I played my first game with the Timey Wimy deck, and Rose Tyler got pretty big pretty fast. I was able to get Psychic Paper on her so she was unblockable and because of her low CMC, when she was removed, she came back the next turn.

There's surprisingly so many awesome cards with suspend, the Tenth Doctor/Rose deck plays incredible. Cards like Chronomatic escape makes u obnoxious to kill just like Meren/frog, also the infinite thingy with the refrains. Put an embercleave in the deck to hit with Rose. Amazing fun deck tbh, may be hard to track for new players tho.

Other have said this, but War Doctor seems a lot more powerful than his ranking here reflects if you build around him at all. If you can set up a cascade that whiffs, you exile your whole deck one card at a time, then one shot someone.

In planechase there is a plane that gives your spells demonstrate, and in my experience when you go to that plane, the game just ends. Demonstrate is stronger than you think, I believe. It gets out of hand extremely fast.

Romona II and the sixth doctor goes crazy. Get the sixth doctor out, play romona next turn and get a copy. Cast a historic spell and get one copy from the 6th doctor then, then 2 tapped copies from romona ! The value is nuts

I'm feeling evil so I put together a Twelfth Doctor deck with Clara Oswald as companion in black so that I can steal opponent's cards, demonstrate them, and then kill the last player standing with a "Last Chance" extra turn effect.

LOL So after a few games with the Timey Whimey deck and getting the Ninth Doctor out a few times I was very impressed with how low key powerful they are. I'd bring out the Tenth Doctor and they'd be targeted since they come off as LOUD. I bring out the Ninth Doctor rarely ever targeted and they did a ton of stuff with double upkeeps. The game that really made me fall in love was Ninth's interaction with Wilfred Mort, I got so many free things! I wanted Wilfred to be the companion after that game but on reading the card they are not a Doctor Companion so I went with Tegan Jovanka. I think it is a great design on the Ninth Doctor only costing 3cmc for a 2/4 (legendary 2/4 Giant Spider body) Haste creature, they hit the ground running and the text is written in such a way that they don't have to attack to get the effect, they just have to be tapped so they untap on upkeep, so you can add vehicles or things that will tap them and sit there and durdle value for days. The deck was quite easy to upgrade since at it's core it still retains Suspend so it was simple to add some great upkeep triggered cards to the deck like the Court of Ire/Grace/Embereth, Followed Footsteps, Assemble the Legion, Outlaw's Merriment. Paradox Haze and Strionic Resonator are solid inclusions in this deck also (3 upkeeps= hilarious shenanigans). I am sure there maybe stronger Upkeep effects but these are so fun at going wide quite quickly. I also added Space Marines (40K Universe Beyond) with Squad because when they come off of Suspend you can just pay the Squad cost and make a bunch of them for cheap and felt like the Doctor and Space Marines isn't that outlandish HEHEH. Not only my first but definitely a Super fun Jeskai build. My runner up favorite doctor is the Seventh Doctor can't wait to play guess that card with my opponent and have them guess wrong and drop a giant Eldrazi :P

12th doctor seams like all the pacts not in an opponents colors can kill opponents during their upkeep! Final fortune with end the turn effects as well.

I think you guys are severely underestimating the power of The War Doctor. If the he gets to attack I assume the "ping" is going towards a player and that that player will die. Cascade once and he have as many counters on him as that player have cards in the library.

25:40 No, it isn't impressive, but the 13th doctor and her companions were devoid of character. They would look at the camera and tell you their motivations and how awesome each other are. Just terrible writing. (I give ZERO shits that she isn't a women, I care that she was written like SHIT and retconned the ENITRE series and basically destroyed the character as a whole. I consider the entire thing to be fanfic.) The Eleventh is just terrible, it's sad. You have to take a card out of your hand, and give it suspend, 3 turns for a three drop? For Real?? The Tenth is just better in every possible way.
