The Best Day Hike in Perth - Hiking the Numbat Trail in Western Australia

The Numbat Trail in Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary is one of Perth's best day hikes in my opinion. It is less than an hours drive from Perth, 12km long and takes roughly six to nine hours to hike. The Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary hosts some amazing scenery with waterfalls, streams, and an abundance of wildflowers around every corner. Entry to the sanctuary will set you back $10 which goes straight back into maintaining the trail to ensure other hikers can enjoy it for many years to come.

Thank you for making this video. I took my young daughter on the short possum loop after seeing it. We had a ball and got to see a wild echidna stroll past. You helped make our day by showcasing the place. Thanks.

I am heading to WA end of April from QLD and would be over the moon to include this hike in our itinerary. What date does the season open typically? 🌱💕

Belgium is the best! I stayed in Bruges for a few days last year and absolutely loved it. Was so good walking around the streets and pigging out on all the waffles! Thanks so much for watching
