Apparently there's another Legend of Zelda game where you play as Zelda, but it's on the Philips CD-I so no one remembers or cares.

@@thatnerdvioletvods it's not mainline, there were 3 games on that CD-i system. this was when Sony had announced they were building the PlayStation with Nintendo, but Nintendo took a second glance at their contract & then decided to make a quick deal with Philips to license their IP's. Sony declared "war" on Nintendo, made their OWN PlayStation & the rest is history. also Mario was the other IP. there was only 1 of those, the other got canceled.

Clickbait title. No offense, but this direct was only mid at best. Metroid Prime 4 and Zelda both look amazing though, and Mario Party and Mario and Luigi both look real promising.

Disagree. surprise revival of Mario & Luigi. New top down Zelda with a switcharoo, MP4 finally shown. A 7 board mario party. And a bunch of amazing RPGs. If you don't like RPGs, that's fine. But this direct was filled with good games. Considering this is the "end of lifecycle" time for Switch. They had some huge games.

Well I'm glad you like RPGs, Hello Kitty, Funko Pops, Just Dance, and Hobbit farming sims. I, for one, prefer Nintendo games in Nintendo Directs, which I only got 20% of here. Guess my priorities don't align with yours, and that's fine.

That's not what clickbait is. Doesn't have to be the best direct for you, just for her. Its her video. A lot of people seem to be excited from this direct (me too; Dragon Quest, Prime 4, and MvC finally being resurrected are already huge deals), so maybe there just wasn't much here for you

I've got nothing against Dragon Quest or MvC in this direct. They deserve to be there, but games like Just Dance, Lego Horizon, Stray, Denpa Men, Hello Kitty's Animal Crossing clone, Funko Pops, Hobbit farming sims, and token anime RPG #46,853 absolutely do not. If people are excited for those games, then fair enough. But they do not belong in Nintendo Directs, and it's games like those that have been taking up a good majority of their below average directs these past couple years.

Thats your opinion and mine (as the title states) is I literally think its been the best direct in years! This only rivals the AC:NH release for me.
