Im going to look up videos of how to build out my back seat to make the room I'm losing from having a cargo van. You are tricky dicky on the outline and understanding of vehicle impedance and voltage and ground.!!

This box is an absolute beast. I just put mine in today man it sounds like I have a regular box in my truck. I’m running slds sundown 12s at .5 ohm a they are rocking. I’m definitely going to get a bigger speaker because this box can handle it no problem

I'm bumping on the skar (2) 12" s under rear seat box. no modification.1000 watt rms 1ohm. For the money it sounds great

When you wire 2 dual 2ohm speakers it leaves you with the impedance of .5 ohm. Looks really good tho! Cool box

With those sundowns with that box was he able to get the max power out of those with out it clipping ? Looking into getting that box for my 2 sundown 10s sdl for 2018 ram 1500 I have a q bomb right now and my 10s are chocking in that box I can barley turn up the gain a quarter with out then clipping

You can only go so high on the speakers.Because the box will not provide the proper amount of air space.Just cause it fits doesn't mean it's the right one

Where did you find the intake ? I am building my system now but I’m building a custom fiberglass enclosure for a sound quality build so it will be sealed, I was planning to fabricate a battery box and install battery on the frame rail under my Ram truck, I have 00 awg. and 0 awg. ofc wire, I have everything for my build but my tweeters, I have two illusion audio c10xl’s subs, four morel elate carbon 6.5’s, four Hertz legend ml 700.3 midrange 3”, a Helix ultra DSP and a stinger height 10 head unit with a few different PAC integration units, I have about 14 amplifiers I have collected over time but I’m gonna use either my Rockford Fosgate T1500 bdcp or my T2500bdcp if the subs will take the 2500, I have a 3200 watt sub amp plus another 600 watt but they are not AB technology they are D series, I sill need tweeters but I’m back and forth with someone trying to buy some scan speak beryllium 3000/60040 series , I am in process now building custom A pillar pods for my mids and tweeters plus I’m working on my kick panel to customize fabrication to squeeze the 6.5 with a tweeter into them, I hope the 320 amp alternator that I installed will be enough, I’ve read about bypassing the computer controlling output and installing an external regulator but I’d rather not do that. a If you don’t mind, can you let me know where to get the intake and the big screen head unit that you have and what is needed to mount them, I have some amps and new 6x9 speaker sets I’d get rid of if you know anyone interested, they are all top brands, Let me know if you don’t mind where I can find intake, if you want to PM me that works. Does your ram have any issues with voltage drop?? I have a mechman 320 alt In my ram with two batteries and once my subs hit on idle , my amp cuts out until the voltage comes back up .. any idea what im doing wrong?

I worry about my seat sitting on top of mine is that something I should worry about or is it ok or should I raise my bench seat up

If you wired both of those d2's to one ohm and your amp is a class d monoblock andhas two connections you will be at a half of an ohm not one ohm

If you have those sundowns truly wired how u said you have them wired wayyyy too low for that amp how u say they are wired it’s to .5 ohms and that amp is half ohm stable. And you were correct in a way about your rms increasing you have two 750rms subs sundowns at that and they can definitely handle more than rated! With that being said you would need 1500 watts at 2ohms based on the only way you’ll be able to wire in series/parallel. I have the sa12v2s in my ram in the fox box. I’m telling you you should be wayyy louder than that just my 2cents #ramlife💪🏾

I'm going to switch to Skar Audio . Only reason I used all JBL is because my friend works for them and gets discounts for JBL, Harmon Kardon and Infinity :) Skar though is cheap and powerful !

Your subs are dual 4 Ohms. If they were dual 2 Ohms, they would come out at 1/2 Ohm, much too low for most amps.
