Nice upgrade! Following all your shit man! Just ordered callipers, brake pats and disks. For everyone who asking botl spacer size, it's 11mm. Bolt length 11mm longer than stock bolts.

Nice work! I've got 374mm discs on my e34 combined with 6 pot f10 m5 calipers at front and 345mm discs with 2 pot f30 calipers at the back.

How did you get the f10 6 pot brakes to fit? What are your wheel specs?

@@blanky1876 i have an adapter to fit the caliper. Also I wanted to keep s37 wheels on so all is made to work with those exact wheels.

I had a custom made adapter to fit it. But I think I'll redesign it a bit and will make it from aluminium this time. Pads are from f10 m5 as well as calipers and rotors are e60 m5 ones 374mm.

N0OB Yup! I have the front e90 suspension and e34 rear that will all get updated with a Airlift kit!

N0OB The steering gets converted from the e34 steering box to a steering rack, with more modern brakes and whatnot.

I don't understand the spacers' purpose. You can just put the caliper with a shorter bolt and not using the spacer, right?

The spacer makes more room forward for the caliper to center onto the rotor... using smaller bolts is just using smaller bolts! You’d need longer bolts and that’s why you need the spacers!

I'd really like to do this, but am confused about how the swap would work with the 85' e28 535i hydroboost setup. phew.... anybody know?

As to my knowledge a good e28 brake upgrade would be the e34 540 or m5 brakes... using the logic that I pulled 540 brakes off to put these f30 brakes on, they have the same hole patten for the calipers and rotors you’ll just need the angryasssolutions hardware kit available at: www.Angryasssolutions.com

So the new rotors are the same size hub as...what? I know I had to use hub shims going from stock 525 to 540 rotors...and the calipers just bolt up to the stock location without new caliper brackets?? lots of info left out.

The F30 calipers and rotors will bolt right up with the angryasssolutions brake hardware kit for this! You’ll need to unbolt and or cutoff your brake dust shield but other than that it’s pretty straight forward with the exception of your wheel size and fitment...you may need spacers to clear the calipers but confirmed that m systems 17” wheels and my 17” AC Schnitzer type 1’s clear with a 3mm hub spacer!

I got an f30 and I got the full brake kit just wondering what size rims I shoukd get I’m deciding between bbs 18x8 offset 32 and bbs19x8.5 offset of 32 I would prefer the 18s but don’t know if they will fit over the big brake kit just askin if you would know?

Go 18’s! You’ll be good! 19’s are waaaaay too big for a e34! Unless it’s your flava!

I forgot the exactly what it is but it’s close to stock! They pedal feel is the same just with more bite on slowing down and it looks killer!

Too many frames with you torquing some screws, than useful informations of how this upgrade is actually done. For example I didn't got to see the calipers adapters together with their specs and options and prices and everything people need to know. You have to slow down a bit and develop some informative part.

When you buy the angryasssolutions f30 spacer kit it’s pretty self explanatory... place the spacers between the caliper and the mounting holes! Go to www.angryasssolutions.com If you can’t resource your own f30 335i calipers or rotors you can procure them! They have everything!
