From what i heard ps4 and xbox one have hardware deficiency compared to next gen and pc and therefore can not handle 6 players in the open world

I wouldnt say they are incompentent. Seamless also just uses steam api. They just give a shit about the multiplayer experience as long its working half way.

@@frvi3502 They are, don't you remember the huge eac issues that existed for months after release ? They did give a shit at least once if they went out of their way to have eac, but im pretty sure this one was only to reassure the public after their huge server exploit fail.

@@thegk-verse4216 Things like eac issue wont get fixed when nobody tells the developers to do so. Some managers set other goals than pvp stability and thats it. A CE enjoyer recently told me that he cant crash people with fast message spam anymore and thats most likely because of the RT update. So they can definitely improve pvp but theres nobody who sets it as a priority.

@@frvi3502 Eac didn't have to be fixed, it had to be working properly *at release.* After that, they have been told to fix it for months like a lot of other issues. Of course they were able to fix a few bugs, thanks goodness they aren't totally useless on that aspect. But considering they already didn't do much online wise, I find it hard to believe that they didn't at least attempt to put 6 players sessions on that game description. There are a few games that barely care about their online with tons of issues, but how many maim their own online with an anti cheat ? That's a copious amount of multiplayer disdain, even for them. Also on that RT update, I have to choose between them improving their anti cheat and them breaking something. Maybe im malding.

What do you mean by 5? Er open world multiplayer is only 4 players at max. Host + 2 allies and 1 invader

99% of PC players are on seamless coop, official game is officially dead. Invasions are not available anymore.

It doesnt, it pretty much airgaps your maingame saves from it and all of your seamless co-op characters can only be seen when launching with the mod. Its very fun and worth a try

nothing can get you banned in this game

yeah it prevents you from connecting to Froms matchmaking servers (oh boy if seamless devs made their own, lol no reason to play normal ER ever again) and it also uses different save file extension and runs with Easy Anti-Cheat disabled so no matter what you do when using seamless, you wont get banned.

Seamless co-op uses separate save files so you don't need to worry about being banned
