When he opened that shaver, WOW! Did you see the funk that was in that shaver? When did he clean it last, the year 2000? Actually you can run it under the warm water but, i wouldn't advise it even though the instructions say you can. I have a special electric shaver brush that i bought somewhere and it works very well.

I'm impressed with presentation but I can't figure out how to OPEN the head of my Remington R845 that's been in a drawer for a few years. Lost the manual. Where you pushed a button to open i have a small pimple of a raised dot on my device. Any suggestions?

What were you using it for....sanding drywall?

I have a Remington Rotary 200s shaver and I used the pop up trimmer today for the first time. I trimmed and lined my sideburns but I was only able to do it for one side. The blade teeth won't move anymore and the motor sounds like its struggling. I brushed away all the visible hair from the blades and added a few drops of oil but it still won't move when I turn on the shaver, even though the motor is working. What should I do?

Very good video. Shaver manufacturers should ship this video on a USB stick with the razor instead of the paper manual in 9 languages.

When I clean my electric razor, I take it apart, clean what I can with a small brush, then I will place the parts in rubbing alcohol, swril it around, remove, wipe, assemble, add 3m oil to lubricant, ready for shaving.

I JUST DO IT at the water flow from the sink, but I never change each blade from its original respective holder.

I watched your video on sharpening and it ruined my razor. The cutting blades wouldnt turn at all after I sharpened them so I had to throw it away and get a whole new razor. I followed your steps to the T and realized its better just to replace the blades altogether and cheaper in the long run!

The cutters and combs should not be mixed up...shaving performance will be reduced for 1-2 weeks.

Why don't you use an ultrasonic cleaner

the two main problems with cleaning it this way are 1. the tooth brush just gets caught on the razors and doesn't really scrub any of the tiny areas well at all 2. it hurts to hold the razors
