My pump works, It just leaks all the oil out when it's not being used. Hopefully a simple fix.
@popeyeandy959Күн бұрын
Well.... The oil is leaking from the oil tank grommet. Not where the oil tube goes through the grommet, but from between the tank and the grommet. Hole is too big or grommet too small. I glued it with some industrial spray adhesive (Contact cement type stuff). Maybe it'll hold. If not, I'll fiberglass repair over the whole hole, and drill a hole for a new grommet. Or toss the whole thing out...

What did you do to bypass thermostat and compressor to run all time. You must have bypassed some wires ....

Great Value is very tasty food!!! Hormel is great too, but, in a pinch and to save money I will eat Great Value products! You have to remember GREAT VALUE or Walmart does NOT have it's own processing plant. Walmart pays another well known brand to make and label for Walmart... Soooooo, the question is, WHAT is Great Values hidden real brand? On another note though, I believe Checkers uses Hormel chilly sauce on their hotdogs and if I remember a long time ago, a friend of mine worked at Checkers and told me they use Hormel products............ SPICE WISE, Hormel wins. Price wise, Great Value wins........ "Store brands are usually made by name brand companies. GV peanut butter is made by the same company as Peter Pan peanut butter. Both by ConAgra Foods. GV bread is made by the same manufacturer as Sara Lee products. Sara Lee is currently owned and by Hillshire Brands in North America which also makes GV bread. GV pasta sauce is made by the same people who make RAGU sauces. Currently that is Mizkan Holdings out of Japan. Basically look to see which brand name is on the shelf right next to the GV brands and that name brand company probably also does the GV brand of that product."

I had a pack of these servos in my Amazon shopping basket and was wondering about them, well after viewing this video I went ahead and purchased a pack of 10 Muizei 9g servos to control points on my model railway layout. I'm sorry to say that my experience of these servos is not as good as yours and I have returned them to Amazon as not good enough quality. Why - instead of moving from one position to another at the throw of a switch they would move then jitter and when the switch was thrown in the opposite direction they would move but then jitter continually. I will be ordering some more of the original servos I ordered from Wize productions as they do not jitter on my current setup.

Wow! This vid is over 8 years old and I just bought the pole saw yesterday. Of course, branded with a different name, but clearly the same one. Slightly different, of course. But the basic design is the same. And yes, brand new yesterday and the f'ing oil pump doesn't work. So using it yesterday and today, I had to go old school by stopping after every couple of cuts to manually oil the chain. LOL When I bought a quart of chain oil today and a little oil can, there was a little box on the shelf with a 10" chain. I think that they were just getting rid of them because it was only $6.50 ish. I get it home, wondering if it would fit and YUP! IT FIT PERFECTLY. LOL In fact, it's clear that the chain that came with the pole saw and the one in the box are from the same factory. They are identical. So, tomorrow, I'm going to disassemble this thing to see if the old problem is new again. It's just weird that they used glue in the first place! Talk about cheaping out. LOL So thanks for this vid. This will help.

*Well alrighty then! UPDATE!* ROFL OMFG these Chinese factories just don't care about their products and do the stupidest things that just cause problems. So the area where the oil comes out, on mine, is slightly different. The hole where the oil comes out is tiny, like a pinhole. Between the bar and the plastic, where the bar slides into (just like on yours) there's a very thin, "rubber" (not really rubber) "gasket!". It has the cutouts for the guide bold, slide area and the oil channel itself. So I took that all off and just did a test run like you did at the end..... THE OIL STARTED COMING OUT as it should!!! I looked at the gasket and the problem became clear. As did the stupidity of the designer! The part of the gasket that is over the oil "channel" had a little piece that crossed the channel to hold the gasket's 2 sides in place (hard to explain really). But where did they put this little support piece, you ask? RIGHT OVER THE F'K'N'N' oil outlet hole!!! This little piece of gasket was bent down a bit and was just blocking the hole! I tried to cut into that, but this material is so thing, that I couldn't get a cut without taking it up to the lab and do it under the microscope. So I just tore the danged thing off. LOL I put it back on, put the chain on the bar, bar in its place and put on the tightening knob (that's the other difference). I made sure that the bar and chain were dry and tested it over a piece of white paper. WHALAH! It works!!! I can't imagine how many people return these things due to such poor quality control at the factory. I know that this got long winded, but I figure, with these new ones, I probably am not the only one with this issue. So I figured, good detail to help the next victim... I mean, customer who buys one. LOL

I love my Kobalt Pole Saw - 80-volt - 5ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Saw. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front.

This is not advisable as it will surely shorten the life of your compressor by a lot. A better solution is to get a larger AC unit. So if you are running a small 5000 BTU AC, get larger 7 or 8000 BTU AC (no, you won't need a 220v plug). Even though my bedroom size room is supposed to cool off fine with a 5000 BTU AC, but it doesn't. So I got a 8000 BTU AC and problem solved. Now I set the AC thermostat to about half where I had to have it up all the way with the 5000 BTU and the compressor almost never turned off.

Thanks, this was super helpful. Someone gave the Chicago Electric pole saw, brand new in the box, but it was missing the bar, chain, and chain guard. I wasn't finding replacement part info looking in the typical parts sites, but you resolved what parts were needed and where to find them.

Does mixing brands with one input system as you have done not potentially introduce some variation? Maybe test each one independently.

I was almost about to give up on my DM Pro. It wasn't remembering setting changes, so I thought the battery on the board had aged-out. Changed it and when I powering it back up it alternated between the address error or gibberish on the screen. I didn't see the chip that's under the ribbon cables, so I have one more thing to try and maybe save this old soldier. Thanks for posting this video!

My problem is slightly different. My Agri-Fab wheels won't spin if it's on grass but are fine if it's on pavement. So, it's acting as if the brushes are positioned too low. If I raise the height so the wheels spin then the brushes are off the ground. I'm wondering if replacing the gear would work?

Actually, the yellow "Throwback" recipe is the original one, while the red can has a new recipe that is meant to be cheap to produce (and sadly has a less convincing flavor). The "olde times" were better, indeed, in many ways...

I quit buying Chef Boyardee because the sauce was so watery and wimpy. What a desecration of a true American success story. and legend!!! Nothing is sacred to greedy punks populating more and more of the American business landscape, taking quality, venerable brands, having them either produced in foreign countries, like Hershey's and Mars or stupidly modifying the recipes and formulas that made the products great to begin with, like KFC, Chef Boyardee, Taco Bell, McDonalds etc. until it's unrecognizable almost inedible garbage for the sake of a buck.
