Dulcé Sloan came to my alma mater for the annual lecture on comedy and politics, and I got to ask her what it was like working on the Daily Show during the transition period. She said basically that the show going on smoothly with just correspondents was a testament to the crew and creative team behind the show being so solid. That shows again in this episode. (Also I got to see her again this past weekend in Arlington and if you have a chance when she's in your town, definitely go!)

What I love is Jon’s self-awareness. That part with Dulce when she pointed out that he’s the old white guy coming back - priceless. But he’s only 61! Not that old, especially with a brilliant team of young co-hosts who work so well with him.

I met Jordan Klepper in his hometown of Kalamazoo, MI when he did a "book signing without having written a book". People just brought any book to have him sign. I now have Jordan Klepper's autograph on Jon Stewart's book. 😄
