The BEST Fish & Chips in New Zealand?! | Northland, NZ Roadtrip (Part 3)

Күн бұрынThe Mangonui Fish Shop is famed around New Zealand for allegedly serving some of the best fish & chips in the entire country! A claim as bold as that required some intense food fact-checking on our behalf so we obviously decided to try their take on a classic Kiwi summer dish for ourselves!
Our Northland road trip continues as we also explore the historic town of Kerikeri and sate our sweet tooth at a childhood favourite of ours and one of the best confectionery makers in NZ, Makana Confections!
We end our day with a monster ribs platter from Jimmy Jack's Rib Shack back at Paihia. This restaurant is incredibly popular in Paihia and their ribs are nothing short of legendary!

Hey AG, man that fish and chips plus the chowder made me really hungry. I'm jealous since you guys are able to eat out now. Here in California, the Covid situation has gotten worse and we can only buy for takeout or delivery. Good job with the video and keep them coming. Stay safe.

awesome video bro next time your in Mangonui try the Mangonui Hotel takeawys.Thats were the locals go.also Coast 2 Coast bakery in Kaitaia makes a nice steak and halapeno pie

Everything at that shop is overpriced. Even the cans of coke r like 3.50 tf 🤔 only decent priced things r the Hapuka bones and smoked fish heads

Any fish n chips NOT done in beef fat ( dripping ) is not good tasting fish n chips when done in oil is horrible tasting
