@@carteljameson8395 There's a reason it's so many people's favorite game and that we are so passionate about it. But I will say that I haven't played either of the Ori games yet. But can't imagine that I'll like either of them more than Hollow Knight because Hollow Knight has exactly what I want from a video game. Anything that deviates from that can't be my favorite.

@@blurbstv No no, MMO definitely *are* a mistake in the grand scale. Such a huge time sink... Gotta be absolutely sure you know what you are getting into. Even then, you could do better. Takes a very special mindset to play an MMO seriously. Best way is to be casual so it doesn't take over your life. As for JRPGs however, yes a lot of them are long but at least there is an end in sight unlike MMOs. Lol It's such an incredibly varied genre that someone is sure to find what they like in it. Whether it be from action games to strategy games to puzzle games, so many kind of games count as JRPGs. They vary so much within them as well. It's really brilliant.

But some of my other favs are Resident Evil 7/8, Alien Isolation, Signalis and Dead Space! Limbo, Inside and Little Nightmares are also great options for dipping into a horrorish vibe if you haven’t played them!

I do not have the patience to play RTS's. But I would like to know if I ever do decide to get into them what a good starting point would be, What would you pick?

@@blurbstv there are tons but the one I advise that has a good campaign to just let you learn everything is StarCraft2. Rn the rts games that are the most active and still alive and thriving are - StarCraft2 - StarCraft Brood war - Age of empires 2 DE - Age of empires 4 - COH2&3 there are some active rts games but those on top are the most popular and most populated. Though I'm Abit biased since I mostly play StarCraft2 in the bunch. I advise you start of with that because it has a very nice and lengthy enough campaign that will make you feel like your playing any ordinary top down game. And it's a good introduction to StarCraft lore and it's units and mechanics. Also the great thing about starting with StarCraft is that it has co-op. This means that you ain't forced to play 1v1s after playing through the campaign and just have fun with a random player completing story missions together. That's a huge bulk of the StarCraft2 community and one of the only things that keeps casuals and new players still playing if they are too intimidated to play 1V1. Also there are some active community servers(which are in a way thier own games, I advise kerrigan survival and direct strike). But for now just have fun in the campaign and play some co-op, it's your choice to keep being a competitive multiplayer player, a co-op player, or someone who only plays custome servers.

Way more people have played Doom Eternal than Quake or Utrakill. And when it comes to horror games it should’ve been the first RE game or any game made by frictional.

@@trevormotherfuckingphilips860 It doesn't mean that a lot of people have played Doom Eternal that it makes it a good game, sure it's more popular since it has been way more advertized than Ultrakill and has multiple platforms to play it; that's why more people have played doom eternal than people who've played Ultrakill (also the franchise Doom is more popular since it's super old)

I made the mistake of framing this as fact rather than opinion, personally I do like destiny 2 more than borderlands but I totally respect borderlands as a game and I understand why people would like it more.
