Nice pickers! You're lucky you live somewhere that there are no large predators to attack while you're sniping! I bet the water is warmer too! Lots of cougars and bears in my area right now, I'm wearing bear spray while I snipe!

Another great haul of shinny bits! Loved the scenery shots too. I was thinking about the cold while you were doing this and then you addressed it at the end. Glad a mate came down later. Was thinking, not by yourself in winter down there. Good luck with detecting.

When you are finding gold it IS so hard to leave the river! I'm amazed Tassie streams still have bedrock that hasn't been picked clean. A snuffer bottle you can hardly wear out uses a length of 1/4" plexiglass tube inserted into a rubber battery acid bulb. I've only replaced mine once in over forty years! Keep the great videos coming.

Indeed the best gold is this way, as my daughter and had been experiencing out very own - miles of it and the river never stops giving. In so many ways our Cornish land is similar to this island and we always deposit our finds in the bank. I remember my fellow officers commenting on my gold prospecting 'holidays'. None more exciting, I'd laugh. They never understood, lol! Thank you for this video, Levi.

There’s quite often rocks that appear as gold on camera but in real life it’s far more obvious the gold as you would know. At least I hope I got it 😁

A friend who worked all his life in Vic High Country mines passed a few years ago - he hid most of the gold he ever found (and it was a lot) so now no-one has any idea where it is....... I've never met a prospector yet who reveals everything that is found.... Make sure you use your gold to make your family's life better - don't bury it. :)
