We need Kirsty to come back and do another excellent review on the new Parlux Ethos. I bought one on Kirsty recommendation and it is the by far best hair tool I have ever owned but I am in the market for another one...need to know if the updated one is even better...?

what temperature/power settings you use for straightening (with a comb)? I have best results with max power + max temperature combination.....only problem is temp seems way too hot over time but maybe it's just my impression bc hairdresser told me it's fine (won't damage hair). I use heat protectant ofc.

My Parlux Alyon died after only 2 years. I’m looking to get a new one, but I’m hesitant. Would you stick with another Alyon or do you think it’s worth paying the extra $100 approx for the Digitalyon? I don’t really do a lot with my hair other than dry it off and straighten it, but as I wash my hair every day I’m looking for a hairdryer that’s going to last and is worth the money. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

I am so torn between this, alyon air and the ghd helios, my hair is naturally straight with minimal kinks, my daughters hair is wavy and both my boys hair is thick, I want something to suit all of us. Also I hate the idea of hair getting caught in a dryer. Which do you recommend because I have watched a lot of your reviews and you like them all. 💜 TIA

I just bought this. Couldn't decide between the GHD Helios or the Digitalyon but I went with the Parlux. I've had my current Parlux for 13 years. Can't wait to see how it goes!

@@helenalovelock1030 it’s a beast. My hair is very thick and this dries my hair lightning fast. Incredibly light too. I don’t regret my purchase. My hair drying experience has become less of a chore

I've currently got the ghd Air Hairdryer but,it gets so hot and the nozzle swivels. Damaged my hair alot.noticed my stylist uses Parlux advance light but I'm desparate to buy Parlux now....which model is the best.?

@@sophiewilliams3963 I’ve got that Parlux one you mention it’s good but they have a new one now the digital Alyon it’s the most powerful in terms of airflow etc think I’m getting that one next

@@sophiewilliams3963honestly you will not go wrong with any Parlux, so it’s not a question of which one is the “best”. Buy the best one that you can afford for the budget you have. If you have really thick hair and take a long time to dry your hair you might want to invest in an extra light one.

i decided to go for this dryer my last new one i didnt even use 3x broke and stopped working it had an American adapter and started failing when i had to use a powerplug converter since im aus plug not usa but very sad 200 dollars went down the drain to bioionic

barber speaking I find it’s actually really loud and you can’t hear people talking at all, the diffuser is really good tho the curls look extra shiney and no frizz (Neg ion tech). For men’s hair tho it dosnt dry fast enough but the shine/hold it makes looks really healthy

I just bought the Parlux Alyon. I was buying it so that I could pack extra light and travel with carry-on only - but no one tells you that the weight of the long 3m cord pretty much doubles the overall weight! It's not as light as we think.

Is the Parlux Digitalyon better than the GHD helios for thick, chemically-damaged hair?

Definitely, GHd has very hot temperature settings. I have tried GHD and Dyson but Parlux is an absolutely amazing dryer. I was delighted with Parlux Alyon but as soon as I bought the new version of Digitalyon, I dried only this one. The thin, wide attachment really smoothes and straightens the hair amazingly, but without the flattening effect, which I hate, which is why Dyson is a complete disappointment for me. When it comes to Parlux Digitalyon, there's something about airflow that's both powerful and gentle.

I do! I love the Helios but the tech is a couple years older now so I'd rec Parlux!

@@auroraalba2876 I havent tried the Helios ,but Kirsty recommends the the DigitalAlyon over the Helios because the technology is up to date. It is a good deal lighter than the Helios for example.
