Great info. The airbrush is definitely one of my favourites too, I'd recommend to anyone getting into the hobby to pick up a cheapo compressor and an iwata neo. Both can be had in total for less than the cost of a starter box of minis, and will elevate your painting tremendously!

About the wet pallets. The metallic paints wil eventually go trough the paper onto the sponge, but only when you leave it on for more than 2 days.

Good to know! I’m only using the wet palette for a single paint session and then throwing the paper so I guess it’s not having an impact with my style. I have put metallic too close to the edge a couple of times and it’s nearly gone into the water and spread that way, so I add metallics closer to the middle of the paper these days!

I agree except that you almost definitely need a wet palette. Especially for me, where the humidity is 0% all year round. Even at a decent pace, I would have to make big blobs of paint and mixing is nearly impossible

Yeah that’s what I’ve found too, I just don’t enjoy working without a wet palette. I do know a whole bunch of people, including Golden Demon winners, who prefer to not use them. I don’t get that though, seems backwards!

You've been at this for less than half a year and you already have the makings of a professional channel! 2 things I've noticed though. 1) you'd backround is really dark and it's not HARD to see you clearly but it is boring, maybe some more props or brighter lights? 2) not all rattlecans require a gas mask, if your airbrush does crap out on you, keep that in mind

To your points: 1) Yeah I've been working on this, and I'll keep doing so - I'm going for a Peter McKinnon-esque vibe but not to the point where you can't see what's going on. With that in mind, do you have any channels you really like the vibe of? I'd love to hear your opinion. 2) Good to know! I was just taking safety precautions but this is great to hear - I still don't enjoy having to work around the weather, but I've been tempted by the new sprays from GW so I'll definitely try these again regardless of the airbrush. @Tin Bear Studios I personally watch midwinter minis the most(top notch laddie) so that's definitely a vibe you COULD but don't have to take from, set wise majorkill has a dope set.

Thanks so much! I go through entire ranges of emotion with every video, from my script where I feel like I'm not getting my points across through to recording and presence on camera which isn't natural for me! You watching and commenting means a lot, so thank you for the encouragement 😊
