The Alto Mar house is located on a privileged plot of land on the seafront, characterized by a steep slope, which played a key role in the development of the project.
The main block, where the bedrooms, living room and kitchen are located, was designed in a way that allowed all areas of the house to face the same view. From there extends a large outdoor deck with an infinity pool, the most important social area of ​​the house, perfect for watching the sunset. Its glass facade and large folding doors allow different levels of privacy for each room.
As the proposal of this project was to use all levels in the best possible way, the upper slab, which would previously have been a useless space, was transformed into another social area with landscaping, accessed via a metal walkway that connects the main entrance to cars to the roof of the house. This walkway then turns into a staircase that leads to the main entrance of the house on the lower level. Characterized by a minimalist simplicity, the project is limited to 3 main materials, concrete, wood and glass.
