In this video, I'm taking you to the best Japanese bookstore to buy English manga. This shop is called ''Kinokuniya Books Tokyo'' and is located in Takashimaya building near Shinjuku station.
This amazing bookstore has a wide range of Japanese manga in English. You have to go up to the 6th floor. Whether you speak Japanese or not, it is always useful to know where to buy English manga in Tokyo. This is by far the biggest bookstore selling English manga in Tokyo and probably in Japan.
They also have books and manga in different languages such as French, Italian, Chinese and German.
The shop has mainstream manga such as One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Death Note and Naruto. Also, they have less popular manga that might be difficult to find overseas.

Only this store has a wide variety of English manga. The others are unfortunately quite underwhelming

I liked The Loft a lot. It was in the Sogo department store in Osaka by the station, I found a huge bookstore on the top floor of a big store building. The first level looked like a home and garden store. I found a limited English Manga area.

Only problem is English manga is more expensive there than here in the US

Yes, for 1 chapter it is def more expensive than in the US (which is kinda weird as most manga are translated in Japan and they don't have to pay the shipping cost to send them to the US). However, a book with 3 chapters might be cheaper. Also, there are more options here.

The last time i went to Japan, The book store i went to didn't have much, In fact just a single bookcase Inside a big building. I'm going to Japan soon agajn and I searched for a vid like this, Thank you.

Ahhh I literally just left this store and didn’t find any english manga because the floor guide didn’t indicate that it’s on the 6th floor! I went to 1st and 8th😢

It's called ''Books Kinokuniya'' on the 6F of the takashimaya building near Shinjuku station. If you can find it, just ask people at the store for ''Books Kinokuniya'' and they will tell you where it is :)
