Enjoying the episodes on this Jeep. Just got an identical 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport Base model in Anvil (except mine has a hardtop) so the videos are like watching mine be modified. Seems like Ryan has similar tastes in mods as myself so it's awesome seeing the results and being able to know how certain ideas will work/look.

@@DIRTROADCRED: Admittedly, I'm looking forward to getting a soft top. lol. The hardtop is pretty awesome. I like the security of it and popping the freedom panels off really opens it up. For just a 1.5 ift, I was amazed at how tall it appeared to be. Would be interesting to see how tall it is after some miles to let the suspension settle.

Okay...you're killing me. Wasn't going back to a Jeep. Been zeroing in on a full size pickup. Diesel HD honestly. But the prices are just plain stupid. Every time I see Ryan's 2-door door I think back to my 2017 Rubicon Hardrock 2-door I had. 99,800 miles in 3 years and never even the tiniest problem. Seeing the lift on it...the HD diesel is a want not a need actually. Plus the Jeep fits in the garage.

I really enjoyed your feature on the Firecracker Red Freedom Edition. I run a 2020 version in red. The current package on the Oscar Mike has some features that I wish was on mine. Nice ride !! I was also surprised to see the look of the 1-1/2" lift. I am interested in a moderate lift like that as mine is a daily that I need to get in and out of it. I really look forward to see how it performs on the road versus the stock Sport S suspension (with which I am totally happy)

So… I know this video is not about this but - why do people hate Rubicon Express, especially after so many years? I see them constantly sell out (yes I’m tracking sites that sell their kits) and the majority of negative reviews or “forum opinions” are really old. And negative. And there aren’t any videos on their failures or bad hardware. Nothing. No videos of anything R.E. Just bad opinions. Are they good now? just no one talks about them anymore because they are afraid of the negative Nancies? Idk man. They keep selling out, made of chromoly, idk. Curious.

I am new to the channel and to Jeep. I’m watching to see the upgrades you make to Ryan’s 2024 because I just purchased a 2024 Sport S. I have a question about driving and judging the distance of the front corners. I’ve seen a marker light on the top of the front fender of the Mercedes G Wagen and wondered if that is a thing for aftermarket Jeeps? If so, who does it best to integrate to be used as driving lights or spot lights, etc. Any ideas?

@@wranglerlife4ever42 My 2022 Rubicon 2 door with a 2.5” Teraflex lift and 35’s is my daily driver. Never sketchy, even on long road trips. Last time I checked this channel is dirt road cred, not interstate cred. With a quality lift that is installed correctly, not a big deal as a daily. With all that being stated, to each their own. There are trade off’s when one starts to modify the suspension. In my opinion, 2.5” is a great place to be on a 2 door. Not certain on a Sport, the Rubicon does not require any new drive shafts at that height.

Sounds like that kit may have just unfortunately not worked for your needs, but I’ve never seen or heard of anybody not liking the ride and quality of the clayton kits. I know with speaking with them before buying mine they use a higher spring rate to remove a lot of the dive and floatiness that the factory springs have, and from personal experience I can say they feel great on and off road. If King shocks are providing a lot of extra travel they would most likely cause coils to unseat on any lift, but in any case why not just use spring retainers or limiting straps? No big deal there, and I’ve never heard of arms running into axle brackets being a problem ever, I’ve read through all the forums and KZfaq videos possible I don’t think I’ve seen that once.
@Robstunner
@Robstunner 7 ай бұрын
@@user-pz2lb1lq5m the kings were not the problem as much as the Clayton’s short free length. They’re much shorter than the competition, somewhere like 17” vs 21-22” like the dual rate options provided by metalcloak and RK, synergy. The spring rate is a personal opinion but I couldn’t imagine running the stiffest springs with their recommended falcon shocks, which are the stiffest shocks.
