iOS 17.4 brought Qi2 support to the iPhone 12.

Most MagSafe accessories have attachments you can stick to the back of a phone or case for Android users. For example the Ridge wallet and PopSockets grip featured in the video have these. But there are no Android phones on the market currently that natively support the MagSafe/Qi2 wireless charging standard to take advantage of magnetic power accessories like the Anker ones featured in the video.

I’m with you on the MagSafe controller dream! I have the Backbone One which is great but it’d be cool to just slap your phone onto some dedicated controller with MagSafe already built in and it just connects and you’re ready to go. Or even some Switch-like MagSafe dock connected to your TV that does the same. I think if Apple just had some dedicated game mode it went into whenever it connected to devices like this they’d really have something pretty amazing for gamers. Thanks for the comment!

@@buybyetech YEAH! Never thought of a Switch-like modular setup. That's brilliant! It'd be cool if they made a MagSafe dock that when docked, the iPhone detects the  TV and starts the last game played or gives you options on the games you have available. And the the phonon the controller acts as a map/menu/weapon switcher while gameplay is on screen. But I think that's been suggested. Its asking too much of Apple 😅
