Jack just come across your channel and subscribed while watching a few on your back catalogue and came across this media wall blog / living room upgrade vid and really enjoyed it, hope your van is sorted now by the way. Anyway I had a question about your smart light solution. As an electrician can you explain the reasoning behind going for smart spots with standard light switch rather than a smart light switch as well. I get that you want to control the colour from a smart app or using Alexa but having a standard light switch can mean people turn off the lights using the switch and meaning the smart lights do not work. Also smart light switches mean you do not have to replace every light bulb in the room and mean for a cheaper smart upgrade. However again I grant you that you were doing up your room anyway so replacing the bulbs was not an issue.
