This is a great jack. I originally had the harbor freight mower lift or just jacking it up on the trailer ramp. This is far superior, I wish I had bought this 20 years ago.

The Ballard jack is slightly bigger and heavier and does not have the foot assist. I am a homeowner with an Ariens Apex 52 with the bagger installed and front weights. The foot assist is essential. I am 80 years old at 180 lbs and I can do this even in soft ground where the wheels leave ruts. The jack does not fold up, but you can extend the safety arm and hang it upside down on a wall so the hook is above your head. Its not too heavy to carry over obstacles with one hand while holding a bag with your wrench and spare blades in the other hand. How do I know this? I discovered some old fence wire in the grass the hard way.
