Australia left the ofc not because they were too good but because going into Asia gives them a better chance at qualifying for the world cup. Asia is guaranteed a world cup position where as you can top the ofc group but still have to play against other Federations to qualify. Example NZ now dominate the ofc but had to play teams from the Americas to qualify for the World cup.

Mexico only won the 2023 Gold Cup because USA sent a C team to that tournament. Their A team beat that same Mexican team ( same players different coach) 3-0 weeks earlier in the 2023 Nations League. Beat them again in 2024 too this past March. US has won 4 of the last 5 CONCACAF titles.

as a mexican i do respect your opinion of us being better than mexico but remember historicaly mexico has always been better and look at this dont use the rankings because look everybody knows that its rigged mostly for favorites but look who tied against poland with lewa yea thats right it was mexico next time look at performances and you'll see what countries are better.
