The average hooper has no idea the extend of NBA players skills. They mostly base their judgment from behind a TV set. There are levels to this. The amount of hours of training and drills they do is literally their profession. This is their job -- to perform. So it may have seem as if they weren't moving really fast but it's a very different perspective if you were playing against one of them face to face. You quickly realize the overwhelming gap between the avg player and an NBA player
