Especially in the pacific division. Though you can easily put steph at the 1 and still have Kareem but you would have to take out Kobe and shaq. Yea that’s hard for that division.

@@LilmanQ7 I think the pacific division doesn’t have an MVP level wing on teams other than the lakers and the warriors. So my lineup would probably look something like Oscar Robertson, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Charles Barkley, and Bob McAdoo.

I was wondering if you were going to out dirk there seeing how Tim Duncan definitely is the PF. And Hakeem is the center. Good choice. Though Tracy could easily go there as well.

One major criticism I have of this is that if you’re making a Starting 5, I disagree with factoring in greatness and legacy. If I were to put these line-ups together, I’d be much more lenient towards talent and how good the player is. The point of a starting 5 is to make a line-up of players and theorize how good they’d play together. With that being said, put Chris Paul right into the damn Southwest line- up.

Nice video! It was definitely interesting when you brought up how the rosters may (or may not) change in the future. Makes me excited to see all the upcoming talent making its way into the league! Would love to revisit this video in a few years time.

This series could lend itself to a squad format easily. Central and Pacific as top 2 for sure. Central and Pacific 1.5 Also would be more interesting to see how the lineup look without duplicate Edit: Also note that Central and Pacific is a 7 games series that could go 50-50 over 100 sims. Hard call.

If this were a 12 player lineup though, things would be a bit different, cuz central is top heavy but not that many greats compared to pacific

@@crudojoshuaricofort8795 Yep straight up. Cause while the Central has the top 3 players OAT, The rotation of Pacific is so disgusting. Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Kings' Robertson, Lakers' LeBron, Clippers' Kawhi. Not to mention their center rotation can make even the 1996 Olympics team look mediocre, Lakers' Kareem, Warriors+Lakers Wilt, Lakers+Suns Shaq. And good lord I think the McAdoo (Braves+Lakers) and the Thurmond (Warriors), even the good ole' Amar'e and Nash. Interest to see which lineup Kareem plays for. But I must note the disgusting defense that the Central can call upon, as they can summon arguably the perimeter goat in Scottie, the Rebound maestro in (Pistons+Bulls) Rodman and a paint pest in Ben Wallace, not to mention Bill Laimbeer aka a literal menace. But still, depth for depth, Pacific will have just enough to bully through Central in 5-6 games.

@@jakestockton16478 Yes, Harden could make an argument but as a league MVP, scoring champion, player in the Finals, assist leader, etc, you SHOULD not be in conversation with Tracy McGrady. It just goes to show you how much of a let down Harden is and how much people know T-Mac was that guy.

I thought this was gonna be a current NBA line up but the video was cool. I had the same Front Court Line up for South West (had to wedge Dirk into SF to make sure Tim Duncan was at PF then of course The Dream). For Pacific I wasn't thinking about putting Kobe at SF so I left Curry off my line up. Honestly you could multiple crazy lineups with just Lakers. Lakers Shaq didn't even make the cut, nor Lebron or AD

I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but I’d put Hondo as the Atlantic Division’s starting Shooting Guard. I’d also put Wilt over Kareem and Shaq as the Pacific Division’s Center.

that central team wins its close between them and the pacific but as much as they are all mvp so should all of the central team. that team has one of the two players to ever beat jordan in a finals isaish tomas the one player in the top five and the two best players of all time (i put LeBron at 4) and the greek freak is going to keep breaking records.
