Just seeing this video. I loved "The Day the World Came to Town" and saw "Come From Away" last year. The print version that I bought is a revised edition with a new afterward published in 2021, so it does have updated information on where people are now.

A big thank you to you both for providing such an entertaining and informative video. As a result of which, I went out and bought a copy of Deaf Utopia. Such a great book. It was so good that I finished reading it this morning. It was certainly an eye opener and in future, I shall treat Deaf people with much more respect and understanding. From an earlier video, I purchased When the World Came to Stay. Again , what a lovely book that made me realise that there are decent people out there, full of love, hope and giving.

I loved seeing your opinions on these books. I definitely plan to read The Day the World Came to Town this year. I also plan to read the only Annie Erneaux book I have which is The Years. Hopefully it will be as good as Happening.

If you are looking to do a video about true crime books, I highly recommend "Blood Will Tell, a True Story of Deadly Obsession", by Joseph Bosco. The blood part of the title refers to the science of blood spatter. I met the author around the time of the OJ murder trial, about which he also wrote a book.
