Ben Gurion , Israels first Prime Minister and Minister of defense got his Law degree from Istanbul University. Studied and learned nation building from a successful empire. Weizman 1st President of Israel grandparents spoke Turkish. Turkey was the first and only muslim nation to recognize and support and do military trade with Israel. So Israel is built on very strong foundation and guidelines of an empire that was respected for nearly a millennium in the east and west. Plus the Turks had 16 world empires before Islam. Israelis were excellent students. The only natural enemy in the region was already being crushed by the allies. UK had no qualms in hanging 50K of Palestinians. They were already crushing Israel’s only enemies. Israel happened to benefit by being in the right place at the right time.
