This video is a little long but well worth watching so please set aside time to watch to its entirety.
Thanks to Family and Friends (Stella, Kurt, Oliver, Dominique, Owen and Noel) for inspiring me to complete my Lionel Train Set, and a special thank you to my beautiful wife Stella for her help in editing and producing this video. This tribute showcases the "Best" of my layout and in my own geeky way shares this incredible hobby for everyone to enjoy.
Also, please share your comments and subscribe for future videos as I plan for my next layout.
Regards, Norm Jurgen

Makes me want to go too a train store. But all are closed in my area. Nice to be able to watch such a wonderful train layout. Thank you.

That is a beautiful layout. I like the multi people scenes. I think I like the house trailer outdoor party the best. And looks like 'Ma' even found a place to squeeze in a small garden between tracks there. Beautiful layout and great work and imagination.

Yes, I missed them in previous layouts. I try to position them in a way that they tell a story. Thank you.

Norm, this is one awesome layout. I like the way you run your trains at a more prototypical speed.

I can’t get enough of this layout-it’s spectacular! I’m bringing my daughter up in the world of Lionel and we gradually add to a very modest floor layout. Her setting; carnivals/county fairs. Like yourself, she appreciates running her trains slow. Realistic momentum is her pet peeve😀 she simply will not tolerate a train which appears to run too fast!

This is great to hear! My good friend Owen who worked for the railway explained that for safety reasons trains can often be seen operating slowly through towns and around curves. Your daughter is absolutely right. The slow speed adds realism. I am also glad to know your are involving your daughter in your hobby. My son grew up with an earlier N-Scale layout. He is now 26 and contributed to this layout with the bridges and 3-D printed supports.

Completing a layout with such workmanship and details of that size in 3 years is amazing. I like that you run your trains at a slow speed so they are not blurry in the video. Your other video on the double wye was great. Probably not may people have a double wye. What will the new layout be like? Different from this one?

I have several N-scale Atlas cars in storage that are 25+ years old. I'd like to re-visit N-scale and build a layout with a complex yard and turntable. Option 2 is to explore a small layout using Lionel tube track that is nearly 20 years old. I haven't decided. Like everything it will depend on cash flow and if Covid gets me! In any event, I am glad you like my workmanship and the Double Wye was thanks to Owen. He inspired me to have one.

Hi Jay, I am just expanding the trainset into a large yard right now and will be focusing on that construction. I will see what I can do.

Hey, Norm your layout is awesome! My father-in-law and I are novice Lionel O-Gauge enthusiasts in Cleveland, OH. We would love to get some feedback from you on a layout we are looking to improve. Is there a way to connect directly? Regards, Zach
