A compilation of great moments experienced playing the Multiplayer modes of both Saints Row 1 and Saints Row 2. Multiplayer is a mode that has been missing in the franchise since 2008 which is a huge let down. Countless hours of fun, laughter, joy, anger and despair have been felt throughout the course of Saints Row Multiplayer, especially during Saints Row 1 Ranked play with the gang servers. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute.
This montage is for the sole purpose of reminiscing on the better times and celebrating all the great memories, friendships, and bonds that have been made while playing this mode.

I never played this game, but watching this reminded me of my days of sa-mp (san andreas multiplayer), kinda janky, but lots of fun, with a unique atmosphere/culture, and unlike any other game. Great video.

Man I wish there was a modern day like Saints Row multiplayer especially protect the pimp especially how fluent the shooting and fighting was in Saints Row 1 which is sadly missed in most games today especially in shooting I like being able to run and shoot instead of standing still which is more fun running and gunning or standing still and taking cover

I love the Weezer song add on. hurley was a great album there I said it. But in all honesty 2008-late 2010 I was playing so much sr2 and sr1 multiplayer. And what's funny about the hurley album is in the tv show lost cause the actor on that album cover was in that show. I was watching so much lost re runs while playing sr2 and 1 all the time waiting for that finale getting caught up. Good times man. RIP saints row let it stay dead imo. because this feels like a eulogy for saints row as a whole. A damn good one too. Long live classic saints row and saints row 1&2 multiplayer.

There's nothing like Saints Row 1 and 2. I wasn't as good at SR1 MP as I would've like to be. Protect the Pimp was the most fun mode, but I wasn't very good at it. I did pretty good in Big Ass Chains though. But I was a beast in SR2. Something about the controls just really clicked with me. Incidentally, I played a few matches of SR2 recently when there was a free weekend or something and a few people were actually on. I've definitely lost a step (or several). Still fun though.

I barely played any of the multiplayer tbh. I played some MP in SR2 and even less ofr SR1. Maybe like 10 hours in SR2 MP and like 5 or less hours in SR1. But I have thousands of hours in both of the singleplayer games. That's where my memories are.

I'm more of a singleplayer and co-op person so I personally never cared for the multiplayer of SR. I only tried SR2's multiplayer in 2009 when I bought it. It was meh at best. The most exciting thing that happened was that somebody left in order to eat some porkchops. That's about it really.

I know they said they wanted to do multiplayer in the future built off the reboot, but I don’t know. Already the reboot has been panned by many people and while it would still be nice to see MP I feel like it would be so hallow compared to what we used to have, plus on this engine who knows if it could handle it. RIP the MP community man.

SR2 maybe lacked of MP but damn Fighting with your coopalone in PC port is hilarious where everytimes you attack them with missiles they will end up in the walls and stuck inside of it... because how Bad the pc port it is even GotR cant fix it all of it+Carlos didnt wantnto ride with you in Three kings if you have coop 🤣🤣

Sorry for the off-topic comment, but maybe you could do a video on the Saints Row 2 patch, mainly to bring awareness to it and try to join the community once more and demand Volition that our prayers be heard, since I have an annoying itch that they may try to cancel it and sweep it under the rug. my favorite game of the series was sr3 followed by sr 2 and then 1, everything after sr 3 was just a pitfall sadly (and yes i prefer sr3 over 2 because i like crazy games that give you freedom n cool weps and zombi voice customization and all the serious silliness, closest recent game to it nowdays is high on life and i love that game too)
