Fun fact: In Poland we have our own Lego- like bricks. They are known as Cobi, are almost fully compatibile with Lego (They use different plastic) and their most classic sets series is "Small army" with tanks, IFVs, planes, copters and even whole ships.

@@Blox117 I mean, its not like soviets werent able to manufacture a good tank. Their heavy machines like KV and IS were superior to early german tanks, but they didnt help soviets much in 1941. Cheap and prone to malfunction T-34s won them the war, because they were able to prodice like 5 of them for every single german one. If it works, it works

@@jeankim1884 I mean not really. Its more the US and Britain were making a mess of German logistics while German leadership was also making a mess of logistics. If anything won the Russian's their part of the conflict I would say it was their own blood. Also when you account for the loss rate between the nations the Russians were actually losing more tanks for each German tank then they were building for each. But with the chaos in the German logistics trains and the pressure of the Western Allies the Germans couldn't bring all of them. Kind of interesting really and really puts the sheer sacrifice the Russia people gave into context.

@@spartanonxy I dont deny the sacrifice that russian, and soviet people in general payed for winning the war, but we were not talking about that, we were talking about tank production. And my point was that producing a lot of overly mediocre tanks instead of a few really decent ones had much more strategic value on a battlefront, and thats why soviet tanks were often worse than german of allied tanks. Because in the mid to late stages of war soviets had no target to produce good tanks, they had a target to produce a lot of tanks

It could be argued that the M4 was the best tank of WW2. It didn’t have the best gun, armor, or engine, but what it did have was immense versatility. There was almost certainly a M4 variant that was designed to solve any issue on the battlefield then, such as the upgunned 76mm variants for dealing with heavier armor, mine flails for obvious reasons, a bulldozer variant for digging emplacements, and more. Once again, the M4 wasn’t good because of armor, weaponry, or its engine, it was great because of its versatility.

Doesn't matter how many you can make. What matters is getting enough and SUPPORTING them. The Sherman's greatest strength was not its gun, its armor, its survivability or any of those hard factors. It was how easy and simple it was to keep in fighting condition. A tank that can't move and can't fight ain't of much use for anything other then a piece of cover.

@@spartanonxy I was mostly referring to the t34, the Soviets had the advantage since they still had lots of material and workers to build many tanks to replace the one that were destroyed, but the Germans were running out of money and materials near the end of the war. So yes you would be partially correct.
