@@hagarskam3516 he can do that to even if they’re competing together in men’s synchronised, that doesn’t stop him from that. Tom competed in both events this year.

Tom Daley has been to 4 olympics/ has accomplished more than Matty has yet across his very long career as a diver/ he's won all the major diving competitions now/Matty is an amazing diver too but this was his first Olympics/ only event

Both are loved by many, worldwide. Both have overcome adversity. Tom had to contend with bullying, and with having to express, to the world, who he was. Yuzuru Hanyu has had to contend with injury, and asthma. Yuzuru Hanyu is a survivor of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Sendai, Yuzuru's town, was devastated. Yuzuru donates whatever moneys he gets, to rebuilding, and to rehabilitation. Yuzuru is also widely acknowledged as demonstrating excellent sportsmanship. Both are fine examples of humankind; cheerful, humble, humane. They have both intrigued loads of people into watching figure skating, and diving. Kudos to charismatic Yuzuru, and to multitalented Tom.
