can you pls tell me if it’s normal for it to literally itch and burn so bad for a few minutes it’s almost unbearable. it says on the bottle not to put on unbroken skin but it’s also supposed to treat acne and i don’t know if i’m just legit not supposed to put it where i’m breaking out and it’s all clustered and split open in spots or if it’s normal for it to burn on areas of your skin that need work
@kennedy1886

Hannah Reed as long as it’s not crazy painful when I first started using niacinimide it stung and itches for the first month or so. From the research I’ve done it’s totally normal as long as it not super painful

that’s called fungal acne! you can treat it by using ‘Nizoral’, its an anti dandruff shampoo but has a special ingredient used to treat fungal acne. Basically you just use it as a face mask maybe once or twice a week, and you should see results. Dont rub it into your skin tho just leave it on for about 10 minutes and wash it off. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for yet another great vid. I have been using TO Retinol 1% in Squalene for months now as well as the DE Retinol and also Retin A Micro which is a prescribed Tretinoin, personally I dont think the TO 0.2% Retinol is going to help you much if you are already using other stronger formulations, that's why I started with the 1% one, to me it's a good formula, not as drying.
@SincerelyMissAsh

Thank you for your comment! I thought about that with the Ordinary Retinol but wasn't sure how how I would react to the 1% as my skin is very sensitive to Retin-A as well as the Drunk Elephant retinol.. I will most likely pick up the 1% as well lol..

@SincerelyMissAsh
@SincerelyMissAsh 3 жыл бұрын
The Retinoid from the Ordinary will be less irritating than the Retinol but the AHA + BHA peeling solution and glycolic acid can be irritating on the skin which then could cause dryness.. I would go with a salicylic acid cleanser or even a Mandelic acid or lactic acid as these are not as harsh as glycolic acid and that peeling solution... Just make sure to moisturize and wear an spf...

If you are still dealing with acne I would definitely pick up a salicylic acid product like a cleanser or a serum.. The Ordinary has a masque which you would use once or twice a week. You can’t use the niacinamide with vitamin c. Other brands of the two you can mix but not with this specific brand 💁‍♀️
@SincerelyMissAsh
@SincerelyMissAsh 3 жыл бұрын
You can use the Ordinary Niacinamide with the Ordinary vitamin c's but the reason why the Ordinary says not to use them together is to prevent possible "skin flushing" which is redness of the skin. If someone doesn't experience that when using the two perfect but if someone does they should keep them in different routines.

I am a teen that struggles with acne. Currently I am using the Cerave acne cleanser, the Cerave resurfacing retinol serum (only at night) and then a moisturizer (I have one with spf in the morning) was thinking about the Niacinamide and maybe the toning solution that you mentioned in this video....what do you suggest?
@SincerelyMissAsh
@SincerelyMissAsh 4 жыл бұрын
Niacinamide will be great as I do recommend that and glycolic acid will also be a great option as well! Salicylic acid is the best acid for acne and the Ordinary is reformulating it right now so you may want to pick up the salicylic masque to use one or two times a week!

Hello! I bought this kit for my mother together with the voicemail masque. Can i use this kit together with the masque ? I was thinking for the next routine for my mother to follow: Every morning: Buffet+ Naturat Moisturizing, Monday and Thursday evening Retinoid+Naturat Moisturizing. And Wednesday and Saturday evening only voicemail masque. Id like to mention that is the first time she is using a skincare routine like this.

anahi idk if you’re still looking for an answer, but i’ve been on nizoral for my fungal acne since june 9th, 2020. i have seen some improvements but i still have these big and painful pimples. it’s helped with the tiny bumps but i still do have some on my forehead along with pigmentation. i’ve also been on many other products to help my acne, so possibly it was one of those that helped?

Ok so pitted acne scars are hard to treat with topical skincare products as these types of acne scars are treated by a professional. Laser resurfacing, chemical peels, microdermabrasion etc.. Now if you have acne marks that are reddish then this can be treated with a retinol or retinoid, acids (eg: lactic acid), Alpha Arbutin and even a vitamin c serum will help to brighten these areas..
