Yeah, this is a scam. They do not make the HDMI version with free screen casting anymore. You have to pay to use the app for screen casting and the HDMI port is removed. Not worth the buy.

Your comments about the Peloton camera are wrong. The bikes do have a camera, but they aren't active. It was only for people to do like a facetime type of situation with other members. It was stopped at least 2 years ago. The instructors were unable to see the riders. On the Guide (which is Peloton's strength form/rep equipment) we are able to use a camera for form checks, but the instructor still can't see us. It would be a little crazy for the instructors to be looking at hundreds, if not thousands of members, who are taking the classes live.

When connected to my Iphone15 via USB C, no audio through the speaker whatsoever running any apps. Have already checked connectors fit. Thanks for any help.

Does that phone have a usb c connection? My bike came with a cable to connect to usb c and on the other side of the cable it’s hdmi and regular usb so you plug both into the bike

Trek hasn’t updated the verve in years unfortunately, but they have recently released the electric verve+ bike. I can likely do a review on the verve’s though since I haven’t done that on my channel before

to others watching this thinking of buying don't. The current models do not offer HDMI connection (only USB-c) and as a result you will have to pay a monthly fee to use the monitor
