I’m now a Walther fan I recently picked up a pps m2 and it is the smoothest shooter I own the recoil is that of a full size. Great video by the way

@@Hegshot87 update went put300 rounds of Winchester white box 115 grain and 100 round of American gunner 115 grain hollow points through it not a single issue .at 5 yards was doing 1 1/2 inch groups and at 7 yards closer to 3 inch of course in 56 and wear glasses lol

Walther and HK have the best grip ergonomics in my opinion. It’s like shaking hands with someone.

I have 3 Walthers - PDP 5 Full, PDP 4 Compact, WMP. All fantastic pistols. I always wondered why Walther did not come out with a double stack micro. It seems Walther, CZ and Berretta all missed on the micro double stack.

They need tp make a PDP-C (concealable) with a 3 in. barrel/slide utilizing the PDP-F frame as a base with 11/13 round mags.

If you are reaching into the past Walther designs, the P88 was an amazing platform that is frequently overlooked by everyone but collectors.

I purchased the PDP F series with 4 in barrel. It is a very light weight pistol that fits small, medium and larger hands and has a great trigger. The marketing of it for females is fine but it's one I recommend everyone should put in their hands and judge for themselves. It is snappy because of the light weight but still super fun to shoot.

Big S&W fan like urself. I have a been focusing on some new 9m and .45 ACP handguns of various manufacturers, lately. However, picked up a M&P .40 2.0 earlier and really enjoyed shooting it. Has the old hinged trigger which I actually like. Inspired to get it out of the safe for my next range day. BTW - my carry gun is a M&P 9m Shield Plus and love it ….

My PDP compact is just epic, accurate, no fails on the range (even when it's in need of a clean) and surprisingly concealable with the right holster. My only complaint perhaps is that it's a little porky, but hey, aren't we all?

Have a p99 on my side, been there daily going on 15 years I reckon. Have many other weapons for carry, but I don't. That p99 is all I need, oh and 2 spare mags. Nuff Said

Hey Heg, love my PDP. 4.5 inch awesome trigger great ergonomics and it’s not too heavy for as big as it is. I put a dot and light on mine and with 18 rounds ready to go it is my bedside tool. Thank dude!

I own the PDP-F and have large hands and it fits perfectly. The trigger and ergos are excellent. That being said, the gun is rather snappy and I tend to shoot low with it.

I love my Ruger P89 that I don’t shoot much anymore. It was my first handgun purchase from my great uncle. The thing shoots like a tank and I’m really familiar with it!

The PPQ is obsolete. Enter Best Of Breed PDP. Adding a heavy brass back strap and heavy recoil spring rod really stabilizes the recoil. Solid.

Walther makes great pistols, period. I have the PDP 4" Compact and it's amazing. WRT Walther history, for years they were imported by Interarms and some even manufactured in the US by Interarms.

I was considering getting a PDP for a while but I heard a lot of reviewers say for a compact/full size gun it’s very snappy. I ended up getting an m&p metal instead and I am extremely happy with it. The m&p is my 7th pistol and by far my favorite I wish I could one sooner.

I always enjoy the videos that you and your wife put on KZfaq. This is another nice one. I wish I could buy that PDP but I live in Commiefornia and all we can seem to buy now is a crappy Gen 3 Glock.

If Walther is listening, the updated PPS should come optics ready with a built in chunk port on the barrel and slide and let’s not forget to include that little hook at the end of the slide. We need a sub-compact pistol that handles like a compact.

My son loves his walthers As for what I just started carrying again is my HK USP 9mm compact Always had my Hk VP9sk with scs optic in my rotation But neglected the USP can’t tell you why it’s a great gun Been mostly carrying my Glocks and Sigs Appreciate your videos man✌️🇺🇸 Forgot go

Wish I had waited on the PDP but I'm pretty happy with my PPQ in .45 auto so I don't see a reason to buy the PDP but I definitely think it's a better looking pistol.

My PDP is one of if not my favorite shooters. I carry in the winter but not as much as my slimmer pistols like my Hellcat Pro and micros. If I had to grab one pistol it would probably be it

Bought the PDP Compact 4", swapping out of the P320 M18. Loved the M18, but it just seemed to weigh 2lbs and the trigger could never compare to the trigger of the PDP. Other than the Canik TP9 line, I've never shot a pistol that actually helped my accuracy as much as the PDP. With my vision...needing glasses for both up close and distance, I decided on getting a red dot. I'm new to the red dot concept. So I'm curious... aim with an eye closed, or both open? Never even thought about it until I watched a video on the Holosun 510c for rifles, in which the guy referred to keeping both eyes open.

I still have my PPQ and decided not to upgrade. Walther's quality is undeniable, but the tall slides do make them a little snappy. You can learn to handle it with practice, so it's not a game changer. But they would be the best guns by far if they ever had a similar slide to the CZ P-10 series. That would make the initial shooting experience more smooth and probably boost sales.

I actually prefer my PPQ over my PDP. PDP is a 4.5" full size and the PPQ is a compact. After I slapped some Talon grips on the PPQ, it just locks right in to my hand. Shoots flatter for me.

You had that in your hand and thought I thought it was a Canik which I think I had a Canik and a Walther can't remember the models but slides were switchable and the Canikl could take the Walther mag but the Walther would not seat

Guns that get left in the safe are there because they are uncomfortable or difficult to carry.

@johnthomas460 I would agree with that. Too bulky to carry becomes range toy, nightstand gun, safe queen, or duty. 😉 Or that beautiful bbq showoff pistol.

My PDP was a disappointment. Poor fit/finish, snappy and an extremely loose fitting slide due to tiny rails. Plus, no optic plates included in the box and have to be ordered. Maybe mine was a lemon, but I’m not the only one to have similar issues. Great trigger, though. Walther’s marketing was definitely working overtime based on the positive reviews posted on KZfaq. There’s much better guns within this price range.
