what is the drain outlet used for (#20 on the installation manual) - it doesn't refer to this in the manual at all? It's located above the RO water inlet on the back of the unit.
@romoalex2 жыл бұрын
if you ever want to unplug your unit and move it, this valve is used to drain the water being held in the holding tank inside the unit. it will be very hot so its best to leave it unplugged overnight and drain the tank in the morning. under normal operation you will never need to touch this connection

will the drain still work properly if I run the tubing down through the floor then back up through the bathroom floor to tie into the sink drain?
@romoalex Жыл бұрын
yes, it is positive pressure displacement. if you want to be sure you can add a check-valve in line

is 37 TDS the lower number this system has given you? how often do you change the filters?
@romoalex2 жыл бұрын
Hi, I rechecked the TDS and measured 23PPM. I have not changed the filters. I have upgraded the system with sound proofing material and it doesn't make much noise at all

How long have used it is it still Pleasant to drink and did you change the filters ? If yes how long have used old filters
@romoalex Жыл бұрын
It still tastes great to this day using the same filters. When the indicator comes on to change filters I reset it and run the UV cleaning cycle. I’ve only had to do that twice so far. I am going to T the line and run it to my ice maker

can you hook up with water line to the fridge? I would like to have it next to my refrigerator that has a water line.
@romoalex Жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes I was thinking of that the other day. Installing a Tee wouldn’t be that much more work. I should have done that instead and used less material
@trex554 Жыл бұрын
@@romoalex Do you have to hook up the water out. I didn't realize I needed a water line out of unit to disposal. LOL I need more water out tubing looks like need about 15 feet or so to reach drain out. Fuck this sucks LOL
@romoalex Жыл бұрын
@@trex554 the feet length will not affect the opoeration of the nmachine, i connected mine to the drain by drilling a hole and clamping
@trex554 Жыл бұрын
@@romoalex Yeah, finally hooked it up at the sink water connection too scared to drill holes so had to pay a plumber $435 to install used copper water lines to connect. LOL Thanks man
It’s so good my neighbor asks for a pitcher of water every now and then

Do not buy this garbage cooler because you'll be utterly disappointed. I've never been mistreated by customer service like I have by these people. I've returned the same cooler 3x now and each time received a new one with the same three problems (noise, lights and temp) on the 3rd one there was a bonus huge dent right smack center front that occurred at the manufacturing plant becaouse the packing and box it was delivered in showed absolutely no sign of being mishandled by the carriers. Some how I've managed to keep my composure through it all but in the end I was told they would give me my money back and hung up on me. It wasn't what I was going to ask for but since I was hung up on by a Serena (Rep) I guess the decision was made for me and I'm Ok w it. All I wanted was a properly functioning cooler as advertised. Instead of expressing concern of what maybe going on at the manufacturing facility and tell me they would look into it they made me feel as if I was doing something wrong in the installation of the cooler by expressing things that are not mentioned in the installation manual or expressed in their advertisements. That should tell anyone who buys a cooler from brio their only interest is in your money and not their product. The Coolers that were returned will only be repacked and resold to the next unfortunate victim.

It’s worked great for about a year so far. I did put sound silencing material inside the door, panels, and base. I also stuffed foam inside as much as it would allow. I turned the heat off because it fights itself and runs my power bill up
@steveadamo66932 жыл бұрын
@@romoalex are your lights multi colored and calibrated correctly? How about the night light does it work? and is your cold water temp cold enuff? The 2nd one I received was the noisiest by far it literally sounded like a tour bus sitting idle and would vibrate also.
@steveadamo66932 жыл бұрын
@@romoalex I'm guessing you are aware that stuffing it to make it quieter runs the risk of overheating many different components and automatically voids any warranty you might have with it.
@romoalex Жыл бұрын
@@steveadamo6693 no, the sound killer material does not affect air flow, i removed the door cover and placed some there, i used the sticky "dynamat" style inside and on the chassis panels making sure not to cover the vents, the water is plenty cold, i dont like ice water but i have an ice maker for guests
