Today we are relaxing during the day in the Senses spa and salon and spending the evening at the pirate celebration. We even went to the massively popular pirate buffet to end the night! What an experience!

It is my favorite too. I have snorkeled at some beautiful places but I was amazed at Tortola. We felt like we were in an aquarium while snorkeling at The Indians last year in November.

Paul Towarnicki - Mine was setup through my Facebook group for the cruise sailing and was with Aristocat Charters. We did Norman Island & The Indians. The boat owner and his crew are very nice people and we really enjoyed the day.

you really need to explore the different countries/ports when given the chance like that. take the opportunity to culture yourself, diversify your vacations, & get out of your comfort zone more!

I mean to each their own like yeah, ports are fun and all but if given the chance to explore a barely full Disney Cruise Ship, I'd totally take advantage and just relax. Ports aren't meant for everyone and that's fine, and if exploring them are your thing, that's also fine! Everyone vacations and experiences things differently and all are just as valid!

Love seeing your adventures! Curious why you chose to stay on the ship today. Tortola looks so beautiful! I think it would be really fun for you guys to try a cruise on a different cruise line and compare and contrast to the Disney cruise.

I would have taken the trip on to Tortola. I've heard it's awesome there. I love going to different places and experiencing other cultures. If you ever go to St. Thomas, you need to go on the Jet Boat Island tour. It is so much fun!

What do they have to offer? A beach? You can get that at Castaway Cay. Scenic view that you can get looking out from the ship? Locals aggressively trying to sell their stuff to you? Yeah, I’d pass on that nightmare too. Ports are over rated.

Nice video but it looks like a lost opportunity not visiting that beautiful island. That would have been fun to see. Also what a shame the food is not so good. I hope that improves during the remainder of the cruise.

I am so sad that they stayed on the ship because tortola was my fav part of the cruise. They should of had a beach day. It is paradise.

The reason the rainforest room was empty was because you were at TORTOLA🏝... I LOVE Tortola! It is my favorite ❤️ Watching you stay on the ship is almost painful to watch 😬

We rented a car on Tortola and drove to Beef Island for swimming in the cove. It was deserted and one of my best days ever🏝🏖🥰❤️

My family and I went on the Dream in April this year.....the food is Cafeteria grade at best. Then again, it's a cruise and all the food is pretty much....pre-made and kept warmed. However there were some dishes and meals that shined above the rest....even if they were just assembly line dishes. With Disney, the service and experience are what should really shine through. It all depends on how you look at it. Micheal's culinary taste has evolved since his first cruise and the move to FL.

We were on the Fantasy in May and thought the exact same thing about the food. We have been on all of the other Disney cruise ships and the Fantasy’s food just didn’t seem up to par for Disney cruise food. BUT, in saying this, you are correct! It still doesn’t take away from the MAGIC of a Disney cruise! Best vacation ever! Thanks for taking the time out of your vacations and making these awesome videos! Makes waiting for our next Disney cruise a little bit more bearable 😁

They are not really port people, but if you don't see them going to a port then either there are no excursions or they have already been.

If I was paying as much as a Disney cruise costs I'd want to get as much as my money's worth too. If you want to do ports you can get there cheaper.

Yeah, I prefer the ships over the ports myself. I’ve been to almost 20 countries and could predict how it’d go: really pushy and rude locals with no sense of personal boundaries trying their hardest to get you to buy their trinkets. They got a good view of the islands, and probably had better shots of it from the ship than they did from the streets where you could take pictures of….streets. For the price of a luxurious cruise ship, I’d rather stay on and enjoy the ship myself. I paid for a CRUISE after all.

I am certain I would camp out on the stone lounge chairs in the Rainforest room. I would have stayed on ship as well. 💫. The pirate shirts looked incredible!

People take holidays in different ways. Some people travel half way around the world and just sit by the hotel pool. For me, I like to see and do everything. I love Disney holidays passionately, I enjoy each port and getting off the ship to experience new countries and cultures. Even, when I go on a Disney theme parks holiday, I like to also visit the place itself whether it is Paris, California or Orlando. It is your holiday Michael and I love your videos, I do hope in the future you are tempted to explore lots of different destinations. I have only been to WDW twice in my life, (I am from the UK), but it was World Showcase in Epcot that inspired me to visit more countries in Europe. I hope Disney can inspire your adventurous and exploration side. Still love all of your videos.

I love your attention to detail as you describe things like the Art on the walls . Michael, Michael. It doesn't matter that you and David are paying for, and going on these cruises. It doesn't even matter that its YOUR vacation. Don't you know youre supposed to do exactly what everyone else thinks you should do?(insert sarcasm) I'm really enjoying these vlogs. Ive stayed on the ship while it was in port too. Perhaps time to slow down and find your joy Michael! Take the time to experience; you don’t have to vlog everything. And you can always come back. I’ve been watching your Jan 2019 WDW vlogs and while you did a ton and were tired, you were thrilled and were able to get so much in bc you are an expert at WDW and already knew how to abort certain things and take advantage of other things. Don’t think you have that for the cruises yet? I’m sure you will! I went on my first ever cruise last June. I watched lots of vlogs so that we wouldn’t do too much but then had some fomo lol. That said, it was in part due to you that I enjoyed senses and rainforest so much on the Dream. Thank you!! For the record, the food wasn’t amazing on that trip either but we still had a great experience. Now am prepping for trip Dec28-Jan 5th. A ridiculously busy time I think and so at risk of trying for too much but watching your Jan 2019 vids and am being inspired. Again, thanks!. Thanks for all you do and share. You should have went to Tortola. We have seen you in the rainforest room, we’ve seen you eat mediocre food in the dinning room, what we haven’t seen is you on a new excursion.

I really enjoyed his vlogs before he moved, but now I'm getting really tired of seeing David and him going to WDW just about every day. I like the informative, studio vlogs the best.

Hi Michael I’ve been a fan of your videos for a long time and let me say that during this time that we’re all going through it sure is nice to have your videos to take us on these trips to Disney World and on the cruises that we unfortunately can’t take anymore, at least for the time being. However, through your videos we get to go have a fun magical time and lose ourselves in these trips that you and David are taking. Michael I’ve been watching your videos in preparation to my cruise in 19 days on the Disney wonder. Seems like this cruise so far the food is not up to part as comparison to your past cruises. Even if you don't have an excursion planned, an inexpensive option (usually) is to grab a taxi near the port and go to a beach or another place or places of interest. A tiny bit of research can tell you what the unique things or "must do"s are at each port. I'm off to Europe at the end of the week on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and we don't have excursions planned at two ports, but I know there are a few things of interest we can do. We'll be getting off at every port, even if it is to walk around a little bit and get a snack and drink!

On my last few cruises, I found myself staying on board more and more where I had been to the port of call before. I tried the Rainforest Room on the Fantasy for the first time about 18 months ago and loved it! So relaxing. I usually do the sauna, hamam, and laconic before the showers :-)

We’ve done two Disney cruises and absolutely loved it! We really want to do a 7 night on the Fantasy but from the looks of it the ship is very crowded and the food is subpar. For the amount of money you spend, the food should be fantastic! I still want to try it though. Hopefully we can get a good FL resident discount soon 🚢

I do appreciate the honest reviews, that being said I am bummed that the vlogs seem to be leaning towards more negative than positive. It seems your experience has been sub par this time around. Not just the food but many of the shows/ activities. Please tell us you aren’t losing the magic!! °O°

I think just expecting too much, maybe focus more on port activities and the areas and trying new things rather than obsessing over the food, I’m sure it’s better than the food at home🤣...been on fantasy several times and never had a problem with the food.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise! Question: Do you always have late seating for rotational dinner? For many cruises I’ve done late seating for dinner and also felt that meals were hit or miss. Earlier this year I did the WBPC cruise on the Wonder. On this cruise I had first seating for dinner. Boy, I was blown away by the food. It was fantastic night after night, for 14 nights! This leads me to wonder, do the meals for second seating sit being kept warm and lose some of it quality? Hint on deserts, always get the sundae. 😋

I understand staying on the ship! We do this often when we don’t have excursions planned and don’t want to spend money on a taxi to a place. The low crowds on the ship are so worth it!!

I love it! Thank you for taking us with you! I wish the cast members at WDW would encourage folks to sit down when the watch shows in front of the castle. No matter what, a Dad gets in front of me with a child on their shoulders. It really is aggravating.

I went on the Magic in June and wasn't super impressed with the food. I was surprised considering I had watched all your cruise vlogs beforehand and you raved about the food so much. Maybe the longer cruises have a slightly harder time maintaining that quality?

I felt the same way about our cruise with the food and service. I found it to be sub-par and not on the level every Disney cruiser hyped it up to be. I felt I could have gotten the same food and service on a Carnival cruise for half the price. I was very disappointed (except for Palo Brunch, that was amazing). Alot of people we spoke to on the cruise also said the same thing and thought there was something going on with the staff as this was not the norm. This was in July on the Dream.

my husband and I had a recent experience similar to you with regards to the food. We thought it was maybe because we're foodies and expected the food to be fabulous and it wasn't. We noticed that the dining experiences that we paid for where actually the only time that the food actually tasted good.This wasn't on a Disney Cruise line ship but I could relate to the experience you had.

Of course another great video, I don't blame you one bit for not getting off ship. Excursions cost money and if you are planning on doing excursions at Cast away Kay I to would save my money. We are have a 4 day cruise scheduled in February which makes a stop at San Juan and we are planning on staying on the ship to enjoy the ship, pools and water slides. I can't wait it's going to be so Magical.

I love the matching shirts, i would have stayed on board too, now i want to go to the rainforest room. Just watching is relaxing, i cant wait to try it. I love the pirate attire and all the characters in costume. Amazing fireworks 🎆.

Enchanted gardens and Palo was the way to go on my cruise experience also. I thought I was being too picky. Glad I wasn't the only one disappointed at Animator's and Royal Court...

I have to admit, I’m a little worried now about the food on our first upcoming Disney cruise in November 😕 it’s one of the main reasons we spent so much money because the service and food was always something that seemed superior. I really hope we don’t end up with several ‘OK’ meals... it seems you were pretty disappointed Michael - I’m sorry to see that and I hope I don’t end my cruise with the same feelings... I know food isn’t everything on a ship but I love to eat on vacation so it’s a pretty huge thing for us!

I've been on 6 Disney cruises and only had one "meh" meal. I was on the Fantasy for the 11 night cruise just this July/August and every meal was AMAZING! Don't be too worried about one persons opinion. As he said maybe there was training or some reason that the food wasn't as great. But Disney is all about pleasing you. If you pick something that isn't so great don't hesitate to tell your server and they will go and get you something else!

I have done over 20 cruises. I have always enjoyed the food. Remember everyone has different taste. Disney cruise will do their best to make you happy. I believe if you want to be critical you will be critical of everything.

Cruise vlogs are my favorite! I don’t blame you for not getting off the ship. Our first cruise is at the end of the month. We only have one stop in Victoria but we plan on staying on the ship to enjoy the low crowds. We’re relaxers LOL!

Is the negative thoughts on food on both WDW and Cruise the prise one pays for living in Orlando and going to the parks almost everyday? Are you maybe getting use to it? no complaint just a observation... Had the same in Club med after working there and eating the food every day... month one I thought is was the best food in the world but after 6 months I hated it
