Thanks Jeremy, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it's going to be a very long process, but one day we'll get there. We are in the process of publishing our route number 2, but the next route will take a while. All the best.

Thank you, Lee-Anna! We've just returned home from a week in the Basque Country. So far it's been an unusually cold and wet summer, with a quite a few days with maximum temperatures below 20 degrees, which for July in Spain, it's quite chilly. Bring some warm clothing just in case! Have a great trip!

Thank you so much, learned something new. I have pretty much covered every part mentioned here except the islands and Galicia, Extremadura, Salamanca and Santiago de campostela a couple in the west (to my own surprise may I add 😳). I love Spain and have covered ground in the country.

Dear Tony and Cecilia, you put so much work on this project! Well done! And thank you very much for your soulful presentation on La Rioja area. Sorry to say, by some reason we did not find any detailed info on the Routes N 3, 7, 11, 12, 19. Please advise and please could you give a few links. In a few days we arrive to Bilbao and plan to spend next two weeks cruising on the roads of Northern Spain and Portugal. Thank you in advance for all your help. Best of luck on your journeys.

Hi Joe, many thanks for your kind words. We only have four trips ready (see them on the first fixed comment under the video). The investment need for each road trip (both in terms on money and time) is so considerable we cannot produce more than two trips per year. All the best!

We have been doing Spanish road trips for. 21years with caravans motorhomes trailer tents tents camping all over France and Spain 12 years at camping vinaros we have just got back from an aborted trip we only got as far as saumor. In France where I. Had a bad fall so I didn't feel like carrying on to Spain if I am fit enough the next time will be may

It’s a good time of the year to visit Spain but the beach season will only be just about to start. The temperature of the Mediterranean Sea in May is still quite cold. If you could make it in June, that would be perfect. All the best.

I have been really enjoying your videos as they are filled with so much great and useful info. Muchas gracias! What we have planned is taking the train from Porto to Vigo, pick up a car and base ourselves in A Coruna (or somewhere in Galicia region) to explore for 3 days before moving on to another spot for a night to drop off the car and taking the train into Madrid the next day. The question I have is what town/city do you recommend for an overnight stop between A Coruna and Madrid. Your insight is so greatly appreciated.

Hi Anthony, you're right, if you buy the train tickets once month before travel, you are likely to find expensive fares, as the more affordable one will have been sold months ago. A car can make financial sense, but always remember to budget for the cost of parking your car in the cities you visit. The pandemic has severely hindered our efforts to produce more road trips, we are unlikely to have new material before July at the earliest. All the best!

Hi Ashish, we don't have a video on Toledo yet, though it's on our priority list. The car will be completely useless in the city, you will have to find a paid parking lot to leave it during the entire day. Toledo can be visited on your own, we don't have a specific recommendation for a tour guide in the city.

Hello there, it's truly impossible to give a blank recommendation, given that we know absolutely nothing about your kids. But check out the trips we have published so far to have an idea whether they would please your family or not. We don't include cities on our road trips as the routes are all about driving the countryside. If you visit the three cities you mention, you shouldn't rent a car, travel by train between the three cities. All the best!

We will be in Spain in June and are planning a road trip from A Coruña through the North to Oviedo, Gijon, Aviles, Santander, Bilbao, San Sebastián and possibly crossing over into France to spend the day in Biarritz. We are thinking of taking 6 or 7 days for this trip, as we are staying with family in Coruña and will also be visiting las Rias Baixas. Are there any hotel recommendations that you can give? Thanks very much for these videos.

Hello Silvia, we haven't got yet any specific material on the topic you request. If we were to cover as much ground as you are intend to do, we would allow for at least two weeks to avoid the trip becoming a stressful race.

Hi tony I have just started to research some road trips in Spain will arrvive Barcelona start of September 8th have not seen any places along the coast from Valencia down need to be back in Barcelona 30th sept so about 21 days any advice ?

Thank you so much for your helpful videos, Tony! My husband and I will be driving from Madrid to Segovia, and then on to the Ribera del Duero region for wine tasting in October. Do you recommend any hotels in the region that we could stay at that would allow us to get transportation to the bodegas / vineyards or that would be close enough to walk to? Thank you!
