Excellent video. I am researching for my retirement in 16 months. We are torn on which class of RV to go with and this helps. We will definitely be buying used and we most definitely will be using a RV inspector. So I am down to Fifth Wheel and Class A. A would consider a Super C, but they tend to be expensive. Thank you for your content!

Perfect Timing! Have been Waiting for this for a while now. Looking for Something Full-time, Four Season, with short time Extreme Cold, mostly in a Stationary location for several years at a time.

Fleetwood is on my list of recommended Class A brands. I feel it would be well worth seriously considering. I hope that helps.

What about Riverstone? Just ordered a DRW truck as soon as it’s built I’m buying a fifth wheel.

The Riverstones that I have personally been through recently have seemed to be very inconsistent with quality. One is fine and the other next door isn't. When they are done right they tend to be a good rig. But when they aren't the opposite is true. That's typical of high production manufacturers like Forest River though. So I would definitely not buy a Riverstone without a thorough RV inspection beforehand to make sure that it's up to scratch. I hope that helps.

A lot of people feel that way but then there's a lot of other folks traveling full-time in them. It's a good thing that there's lot of choices for different ways to travel in an RV.

Do you still do inspections or are you 100% retired now? I presume that you are in the south or southwest?

Yes, we still do inspections. But being a content provider online takes up most of our time now so we aren't as available as we used to be for inspections. And currently we are on the road traveling in the northeast.

@@RVInspectionAndCare We got back home in IL at 1 am in Father’s Day morning from South Dakota and Wyoming for a week as I had never been west of Topeka, KS before. We did the AirB&B as we’ve never RV’d before. Beautiful out there. I now know why ppl go west.

Like I said in the video, I only chose one of the "top-rated" brands for each RV category. And I also mentioned that there are several other brands that can be recommended, including lower cost options, that you can find in my guidebooks on the subject. But a very important point to understand is that if you want to travel and live full-time in an RV, it will require a very well-built rig to hold up to the stresses and strains of full-time living. The average RV will not handle it well over the long haul. So as I said, if you can't afford a high quality new RV, just buy one on the used market that has been well-cared for and fits your budget. I hope you find what you're looking for.
