Well it's my sandalwood trio. I think I've been avoiding this one because it's not my favourite note to be honest.
I don't mind a woody one, or that mysore sandalwood. It's when it gets very creamy it can make me feel a bit queesy.
Aye I'm not gonna waffle we all know this format by now and my weird relationship with sandalwood.

I love the note of sandalwood. I’d love to have a bottle of Piano Santal. These days, Santal Blanc and Milky Musc and Indian Study are my favorites. But any sandalwood is good to me. Santal 33 isn’t quite my thing…it’s too harsh, but in the heat of summer here in Los Angeles, it’s fine…quite good actually. I’m sorry your lactose intolerant…one of my sons is too. I’m a lactose lover…anything dairy I love.

Yea I can have it but suffer the consequences 🤣. And yes Piano Santal is very lovely isn't it. It's a note that can be just one I have to very be in the mood for

I love sandalwood but my Mum loves it even more. I got her some samples of niche sandalwoods and she loved them, especially Abîme from Violet and Santal Blond from Atelier Materi. Might be time to find more for her

I know I have sandalwood in some of my fragrances, but I'm not familiar with it too much. The only one that screams sandalwood is Santal 33, which I occasionally wear but have to be in the mood for! I think this note goes under the category of "I'd probably miss it if it weren't there but I don't seek it out." Great video, as usual. 😉

Yes I have a few like thatm Santal 33 was one I definitely didn't get on with 🙊 but I applaud it for at the time being unique. Yea sandalwood can be a more sneaky bit player in a lot. Thanks for watching Jim 🙂

I love sandalwood. Favorites are Santal Blush, Gris Charnel and Piano Santal. I really dislike Santal 33. Pickle juice that everyone wore a few years ago. Lol

Sandalwood is still a tricky note for me. Depending on the type of sandalwood used it can smell really bad on my skin. I think the ones that works the best for me is Santal noir by Dior 😉

I really like sandalwood sometimes, when it's done amazingly, like in Piano Santal, it's a wow, but yes, I agree, that fragrance can also be sickly. Creamy sandalwood is something that I don't think I had discovered before watching fragrance content. It felt like a bit of revelation after every fragrance I'd bought at the time being patchouli or vanilla based. I do think your feelings towards sandalwood are related to being lactose intolerant and I think it's an interesting parallel with ice cream. I think I'd like to see some more spicy sandalwoods on the market in future. Lactonic is lovely but they get a bit samey. Great video ❤

Yes it's a strange note at times. I wouldn't have ever thought of it being creamy and lactonic as it can be before all this. Yes vanilla would have been what I thought. It does work very nicely with spices and when it's more woody. Yea I think it makes sense that something that makes me ill in real life it's probably natural the smell of it would too

Mmm, a warm bath of incest… 😂 Joop! Le Bain has found a new ad line! There’s Indian Sandalwood which is softer, creamier like in Wonderwood by Comme des Garcons, and then Australian Sandalwood which is brusque, more sour like the cucumber/pickle note in Santal 33 or Tam Dao EdP by Diptyque. I have an extract by Russian Adam (FeelOud) that I often use as a touchpoint as he shredded and pulped ancient roots from India. It’s delicious, but not technically a ‘perfume’. I love this series, please continue! Sorry you have a cold, xo

I'll run out of notes eventually 🤣. That does sound like a magical experience. It's another of them brands I need to explore properly. And 🤣🤣🤣 Yes a very strange misspeak there. Yes that makes sense for the difference Teone uses the Australian doesn't she. I guess there will always be some of them notes we can't always get along with
