The models have all been identical since X & Y what are you talking about?

@@ShadowFox64 The resolution made the models better (3DS models had downgraded quality to improve performance) and I think they also polished them by cleaning up some textures and idle animations like Ponyta's flames.

@@xxAryAryxx not really, they just made the models in high quality and downscaled them for X&Y and SM, but not by much, they only tanked the texture quality, which is why X&Y and SM/USUM can dip in performance, specially when in Double Battles, it's also one of the reasons Triple Battles don't exist anymore.

Insulted, this is the worst moment. In SuMo I tried to hatch a shiny taillow and never got one, but then UsUm were released and shiny Swellow was thrown in wormholes so the worth of shiny Swellow was decreased.

Nah, those were always meant to be the sounds the Pokemon make. Making Ponyta a regular horse or just speaking English for 1 word is what would be jarring. (Hated that in the anime.) Though I agree they could make it sound... smoother? I always thought the new cries sounded worse and less distinct than they did on older consoles.

He’s actually been pretty positive about the game, but I understand wanting to wait for a full review. It still does have problems, but it’s definitely the best we’ve gotten in a long time

Did it ever have value? If you want a shiny of a Pokémon, you’re guaranteed to get it at some point. It’s not that out of reach to begin with.

And especially bad compared to linear RPG's.

Same here. It looks a lot better than SwSh and BDSP, but that’s not saying much since both those games set the bar real low. I’d say just don’t get it at launch and wait until more reviews come out. There are so many games out there that are more deserving of your hard-earned money.

I mean... if you are disappointed by the game as a whole by this. Maybe you should just stop with all of pokemon in general I get you want to have a amazing game but come on man. This game really is a amazing step up from sword and shield also you can't really put bdsp in there as well as let's go eevee and pikachu obviously those were never gonna have voice acting. Really just kinda petty to come after this game though that yes I would love to have voice acting but am I going to be disappointed in a game that is already really good for not having it... no I'm not.

If I'm going to be hemorrhaging $60 for a game, then of course I want it to be amazing. Otherwise, it would feel like a total waste of money. 4. I agree with you that Pokémon: Legends Arceus is a big step up from Sword and Shield. 6. I also agree with the fact that Pokémon: Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee and Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl shouldn't have that feature due to them being remakes. 7. It looks like I grabbed a 2002 open world game and just increased the terrain render distance to the max with no regard if it actually looks good (The Elder Scrolls Morrowind comes to mind)
