The best Sims 4 mods of all time! These are the best Sims 4 mods for realistic gameplay according to me.
There are many gameplay mods for The Sims 4. These are mods that I regularly use that are of very high quality, and consistently updated.
If you skipped through the video, the names of the mods and creators are displayed at the start of every section. You can download the Sims 4 mods by searching for the mod name and the creator name. KZfaq recently changed its rules on links in descriptions relating to spam hence no links.

I played with mods for a while, but I got so annoyed with having to update every time there's an update. It sucks, because they enhance gameplay so much. I just wished the Sims-team was as creative as the modders.

Yeah but I use a mod manager that has an "update mods" feature if you downloaded things from curseforge. It definitely lightens the strain of updating mods for me.

I had a thought recently. Sims 4 devs saying “we removed open world and create a style for better performance” is the same as if when Sims 3 was coming out they said “well Sims 2 was crashing on some computers so we decided to go with Sims 1 isometric view”

the camera system would never have been a cause of crashes or performance issues. as fun as they were and as much as i miss them, create a style and open worlds WERE heavy on performance, especially larger open worlds. plus maxis has never been great at optimisation in general. so they're. really not comparable at all.

@@silly6517 that’s obvious, but they are comparable in a sense that they were new innovative features for the series and removing them is a huge step back. Instead of optimizing better, they just abandoned what made sims 3 new and progressive. They had 5 years of time and technological progress to make these systems work but we all know which way they went

Sims 4 would always run better, sims 3 had a problem old games sometimes had that limited the usage of ram the game could ask the computer, there's a mod to kinda fix it, but it cant fix the engine. Sims 3 engine was just amazing for its time, It simulated every sim in the entire city, that's why it lagged, sims 4 engine has nowhere near the capabilities that sims 3 engine had.

Realistic pregnancy mod by Lumpinou goes well with the Childbirth mod by PandaSama. Also the LanguageBarrier mod by Frankk. Adds more realism to those interested in it.

I absolutly love Wicked Whims - I know you made a video about this but stopped as you got embarrassed. It's worth doing again as it makes the relationships so much more real and you can't just pair 2 random sims you like as a couple. Also it's made me rethink about creating generic good looking sims as they aren't always attractive to other sims.

Thank you so much for making this video! I didn’t know these mods exist and it blew my mind how good they look. I only play Sims 4 sporadically, so much less then I used to play Sims 2 and 3, because Sims 4 feels really flat to me and like there isn’t that much to do. A huge round of applause to the people who make mods that are this good and detailed and literally saves the game!

Great Mods 😊 have you heard of Lumpinou‘s Woohoowellness overhaul? This is actually one of my favs aswell. It brings STD‘s and protection into the game. But also many More things related to pregnancy, dating, divorce etc. … i think like 16 modules you can individually choose. I could not play without these anymore 😅

How about actually posting a list of the mods correct (full) names and links on where to get them? I need to google every mod and guess which one is correct, and it seems some are even paid content?

thanks a lot Satch great video, although I would say one of the WWhims Mods (wonderful or wicked), MC Command Center, & Better Build/Buy Mod are also needed in game since they bring a lot of options and fixes that actually 99% of them were present in Sims 2 & 3, I cant play Sims 4 without these 3 and some of the ones you mentioned! also about CAS Columns I'm on a 1080P monitor and I don't have a single problem in my CAS using 5 columns! it fits the corners sometimez but never clips out of screen or bugs out!

So technically the reality mod is just the new expansion pack "For Rent" that just came out. Since with this new expansion pack you can become a landlord and rent out places.😁

2:46 SNbank can get weird with buy/build mode if you don’t use the in game household bank account. I tried living off of an SNBank debit card and it was, uh, interesting. I could eat but I couldn’t buy a new laptop. Guess I need to build an electronics store…

3:49 lot tax tuning is a cool idea but I wish I could set it per world or per lot. I set it to 22% for evergreen harbor (because Portland tax) and then realized that’s just universal in the mechanics now. Maybe they’ll change that in the future. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind

4:24 speaking of sound effects. If you use SNBank there’s a glitch in the account setup menus where the audio will layer on top of itself and become nonsensical if you click through the menu faster than (what I think the dev) expected. I’ve been meaning to put a bug report in for that one

9:45 Carl is hands down the best person alive. He fixed that pack. He made it not only work but he made it fun. The new mechanics are a little glitchy sometimes, being the chef isn’t all it’s cracked up to be but it is way better than what EA sold people

Its just random people that got tired of the vanilla game that created these mods to make it more interesting and had the decency to share it on the internet, Ea does not support mods they only give u a mods folder and if u run into any problems u gotta figure it out

3:24, just gonna say to anyone looking at SNB Bills, if you play a lot of different households this may not be for you, as often sims won't have internet/water set up in their households if you're not playing as them, which i think is a little unrealistic.

These all seem like great mods. I use the SNBank one for my teens who have jobs. One of my favorite mods is by turbodriver, the same person that makes wicked whims mod lol. But this mod is a simulation inclogger, so you know how the game lags a lot or your sims will just stand there for 10 mins and do nothing after you have told them to go do something? Well I can't remember the name of the mod ATM, I'm blanking, but this mod by turbodriver fixes all that annoying stuff.

I started my own new savefile so I can try the SimDa app from the beggining of my sim's yound adulthood. I always make her end up with the same sim (that I put also in the savefile in the world), and she ended up going on TWO blind dates with him, which I didn't expect happening 😂 first one was a disaster, second one was great 😂 I love it, 10/10

I honestly have no idea how the game looks without Meaningful Stories and I also don't want to. That mod is life-changing and if I had to choose one mod to stay in my game, I would easily choose it over MCCC and Cheats UI I also highly recommend whims overhaul and trait overhaul by sims4me

His video doesn't need to be updated, any simmer with a basic knowledge on how to download mods and cc would use common sense and type in the name of the mod on google and download it kmft
