Genuine question does the laser help on the sniper? Because I remember in 4 you could genuinely see your laser on someone through the scope but in this game it seems to be almost unseeable when your aiming at someone

Hello all, when i first used in bf 2042 sniper scope and wanted to try quickscop I immediately noticed that there is a big difference between bf3, bf4 and bf 2042 the scope animation is so slow that a quickscope like that in the bf3 or bf4 is unthinkable Now I want to find out if there are settings in the game to make the scope animation faster so you can do quickscope with this animation speed like now it is hardly possible. Thanks

2042 has the potential to be one of the best bfs ever, but I would recommend wait until they fix some aspects of the game before buy it.

I agree and say hold off. The game has some pretty game breaking bugs and they appear constantly. I play about 8 hours a day and about half of them I dont really play I just deal with bugs. The lack of content is also an issue. In about a span of a week, Ive unlocked most of the guns (just missing the last 4 guns) so aka most of the content, since idc about reaching lvl 99 to get all the skins. The lack of content feels like theres no reason to play. Yes I could extend my playtime by unlocking all the attachments for each gun but its not even viable since the way the guns are coded, only like 4/22 guns work and the rest have hit reg issues. Then theres the map balancing issue, most of the maps are too big and the game was def made for vehicles, if ur an infantry main like me, be prepared to play running simulator. The maps are also def not designed with 128 players and because of the sheer amount of players, your solo efforts do not mean anything. As of now, the game gets repetitive quick: pick a specialist, pick 1 of 4 working guns, run for 3 mins, kill someone then get killed, repeat. If youre really lucky, you might go on a small streak before you die. Id say try hazardzone or portal but both those gamemodes are dead so youre stuck with AOW. Also if ur on pc, u need a beefy one. My ryzen 5 3600 and 1080ti barely push 60 fps, most of the time i get 56 but in big fights it goes down to 40

It’s getting overly hated because it’s so buggy. It is extremely buggy and does deserve to be railed on for things like certain objectives being literally uncapturable on breakthrough. But it is still extremely fun when it runs smoothly and is already one of the best battlefields once you find guns that work for you. Things like the specialists and loss of class restrictions is getting a lot of hate right now but I think people will grow to like the specialists with time and it will make the meta fun. A lot of small changes that aren’t objectively bad are getting hated just because it’s not exactly the same as previous battlefields.

I deleted the game only because of the snipers it was so frustrating that I couldn’t even reach level 24 to open the dxr-1 . But now you saying that it have fast bullet velocity I might redownload it again . In BFV and 1 it was very easy to shot moving targets on console . In the new game is imposable to hit moving targets not only the bullet velocity is so low also the hit reg is fucked up in this game.

@@IlNamelessKinglI Did you even watch the video? Even enders is having trouble connecting on moving targets with this hitreg. It has nothing to do with how easy the sniping is. And the low bullet drop and high velocity makes it EASIER to snipe on 2042 than previous games. Don't just parrot everything you hear on stream.

I get what you mean, I can't use the SWS for shit, I suck ass with it. I love using the DXR however, such a better weapon all round! I just gave up sniping and reg gunned until lvl 24 lol

The 10x scope is really just situational for when your sniping across the map, which is fun, but super ineffective.

Gonna have to disagree with you on the best in the franchise. In bf2 we had the 50 cal sniper, that didnt have a bullet drop rate of 3487463784634763% and no lens flare, even when the sun was behind you....this is the biggest rip off ive ever seen. But then again, its ea....Sun behind you? lens flare. Rain? Lens flare....just to coddle the kiddies.....losers
